Good Morning menu gang. OH was acting wonky for a couple of hours this morning they must have been doing maintenance on it or something. Finally able to get on to post.

We are getting ready to start up the boiler that has been down for maintenance and that means we are a day ahead of schedule. That's really good. Oh and that employee who called out last Tuesday stating his sister died, come to find out he lied about her passing away. When he was asked where we could send flowers, he started making up all sorts of odd excuses. My plant manager called HR to let them know what was going on and our HR rep did a three-way call with the employee and plant manager. He ultimately admitted that he didn't want to have to work the outages as it was too much work and figured he wouldn't be questioned if he said a family member died. Bad Juu Juu came his way as he was fired yesterday. It wasn't just because of that we found out other things that he was doing or not doing something correctly and trying to blame other co-workers. He was mad he was let go.

QOTD: If you could be any age for the rest of your life which, would you choose? Hmm I think I would go with 25. Seems like a good age to be for life.

B: coffee and 2 hard boiled eggs

L: corned beef sandwich

D: pork burgers with toss salad

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great Tuesday everyone!!!

Good morning, everybody!

I wasn't as tired as I thought that I would be yesterday. I ended up sleeping about seven hours last night, no nap. Today, I will be back at the gym, so maybe it will hit me then. Because of som in-person meetings on Wednesday and Thursday, today will be the only day that I will be working from home this week, so i will try to enjoy it. Friday I have to be in town to pick up my race packet for an 8-K on Sunday.

The tulips seem to be coming up great, it looks like Marilyn's chicken wire idea worked to keep the bulbs from getting eaten by rodents. And I was wrong, she doesn't intend to move them around the yard until after they bloom this year. We are looking forward to seeing what color everything is and she will devise some sort of labelling system for them.

March Madness starts on Thursday. Actually Tuesday, but nobody pays attention to the 4 play-in games that take place tomorrow. I'm not as big a fan as I once was, but I will fill out a bracket and submit $10 or so. My favorite thing about the tournament is that it takes us through the end of winter. Thursday is the first day of Spring, and by the time the tournament ends on April 7th, it will be full, no doubt Spring.

QOTD: I am pretty happy now. 26 was a great time because I was young and my weight was low, but I gained that back really quickly and was still working and broke. A lot of people on this thread got their weight to normal for a bit around that age, but not for long.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Sandwich

Dinner: Corned Beef and cabbage

Have a great day, all!

When the Tulips do bloom Marilyn should make note of what colors are where that way if and when she decides to replants she'll know what colors she wants in a specific area.

25 was great physically, but mentally I was still deciding what I wanted to do in life. My son was born right before I turned 25. I was sometimes overwhelmed with all the work of a new baby. I only took six weeks off of work and then went back full time while working out child care and a lot more housework and laundry.

I think I liked being over 30 better. I had my routines in place by then and felt relaxed and able to enjoy things more. I have twin sisters who are 63 and they are both in great health and able to do everything they want. I started to lose my strength at 70. I remember being at Cedar Point and having to rent a mobility scooter because I could not keep up with the walking.

That had the advantage that we were able to go the head of the line at the rides. I kept working out and did physical theraphy but never got the strength back that I had in my 60s.

Good afternoon menuers,

Just curious of the age of the now x employee. I don't know anyone in my generation that would turn down work. But I do know Ron would turn down overtime and I never understood it. If I can do anything to make or save a dime I am in.

QOTD: I think 33. Still young enough to not get iked for hanging out with 20-year-olds but old enough to hang with professionals and still get taken seriously. And I was making a bunch of money then too.

Accountability: I made the date bark and over ate it.
