What's on your Monday menu?
Good morning everyone. It's warmer than it has been at 35 degrees and is supposed to get to 50 later this week. I'll take it after all the bitter cold we had last week. Did a few things around the house and watched a pretty good movie it is a horror/suspense, but still a good watch. It's called The Gorge and is streaming on Amazon Prime.
Not much going on at work this week which is nice. I have a couple of doctor appointments I have to make for both Irvin and I just normal annual stuff. I do have to contact the local livestock auction to see if there are any special precautions for bringing poultry to them to sell. With the whole bird flu thing going around I'm not sure if it would just be easier to sell them privately or bring them to the auction. This is for my mom as she is thinking about selling off all her chickens/roosters.
QOTD: What is your favorite movie genre? I love all sorts of movies, but I would have to say I watch more horror movies than anything else. Why? I have no idea since they scare the crap out of me. LOL
B: coffee and cottage cheese with blueberries
L: ham salad wrap
D: fish and chips
Have a great day!!!!

Good mornin y'all.
It looks to be a busy week ahead. I have doctors appointments tomorrow and Wednesday. Not looking forward to tomorrows at all. He is just so dismissive. Wednesday is my PCP and I'm hoping he'll do some of the yearly bloodwork. Also do an X-ray of my left hip area. He's usually better than my other doctors so we'll see.
Today we're going to a craft store. We might do some other stuff but haven't decided yet.
At the dollar tree yesterday the manager was putting this powdery clean up stuff. Alll over the check out area in the middle of a busy period. Well an elderly lady was in there and fell hard. Hit her head. She brought the basket down on her while trying not to fall. Thank god my mom was there and insisted on calling an ambulance to get her checked out. She is 89! The manager didn't want to call and wasn't going to. She knew she mucked up. The firemen showed up first and were able to get her up. Her back was hurting. Hope she is ok. Why the manager thought this was a good idea is beyond me. Even we almost fell on it afterwards.
QOTD: as of late I'm not terribly into many movies. I do like historically based things the most if I had to choose.
B: breakfast burrito, coffee and unfortunately 10 mini robin egg candies
L: PP shake
D: Haven't decided yet,
Good morning, everybody!
I had a doctors appointment this morning. I have been having some low ringing in one ear (actually not the ear that was giving me issues a month ago). So I went in to see the doctor and got a hearing test.
I don't have hearing loss, so I will just monitor it for now. They suggested Magnesium supplements, so I am going to try that.
Marilyn and my older son are going through the home inspection today and they have another inspection tomorrow morning as well. Wednesday evening they are fishing for Snook.
QOTD: I think drama. I like comedies also, but they don't seem to make a lot of those.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Lunch: catered
Dinner: Kielbasa and pierogies
Have a great day, all!

That sounds really good! Our town has a drive through fish fry outside of the church, we do that a few times a year.
I asked Marilyn about the Dyson hair dryer. She has a friend who has one and loves it, but also has two live at home daughters, so they do get a lot of use out of it.

Thanks for letting me know. It makes sense with the two daughters. My hair is short and takes about five minutes to dry with my $20 blow dryer. I used to go to the church fish fries all the time during Lent, but after the weight loss surgery I can only eat a small amount at a time and those meals were huge.

"I wonder if pizza thinks about me, too."
I would still be screaming if that happened to me in the shower. Our beauty shop was attached to the house. I had cats and cat doors. One day the cat bought in a mouse and put it down when a bunch of women were getting their hair done. They were screaming and jumping up the hairdryer chairs.
My husband caught the mouse and put it outside in the field. A short time later the cat found it and bought it back in. More screaming. So Joe hit it with the broom and killed it. They screaming turned off and they were asking how he could kill the poor little creature. Joe said you do not ever win when it comes to mice.
