It's Friday Eve and I have tomorrow off Woo Hoo. I just got into work due to the icy roads, but they were not as bad as expected. Not a lot going on at work today so I'm hoping for an easy day. When I got home last night, I ended up going through more stuff in the basement and cleaned up April's saddle. Tonight, I plan to clean up her bridle because this Spring/Summer I want to get back to riding.

Irvin asked me what I wanted to do tomorrow, and I told him go to Daily Catch seafood market to get some yummy stuff to make and then I found out one of my friends from HS just opened a bakery down the road from there, so we are going to have to stop in and get a dessert or two. She went to a culinary college years ago and it's always been a dream of hers to open her own bakery. I'm so excited for her.

QOTD: Would you ever want to own your own business like a bakery or restaurant? While I love to cook and bake honestly, I don't think I would want to deal with the public especially nowadays. People are so darn picky and expect things for nothing. Plus, the overhead and everything else that goes with running a business is just something I don't want to deal with.

B: coffee and bacon, egg, cheese wrap

L: ham and Swiss sandwich

D: roasted garlic chicken sausage with peppers, onions, and wild rice

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning, everyone !

Matt was right, we got less snow than originally forecast. It looks like about 5 inches. The roads are still getting cleared off, but no problem with the trains running on time.

I think today is going to be a pretty busy day at work, despite the snow. Thursday is a rest day from gym and swimming, so nothing planned for tonight.

Marilyn is going away for a tennis tournament this weekend, so the boys and I will be on our own. We are going out to dinner Saturday.

QOTD: Too much work for me.

Breakfast: Protein Bar

Lunch: Catered

Dinner: Italian Beef

Have a great day, all!

Morning all. We've got steady rain here. Right now, I'd rather have rain than snow. JB and I are going out to a movie tonight. Popcorn! Otherwise I'm hoping for a boring day.

I still eat a lot of Quest Bars. They really help me control the calories. I started in 2012, after surgery, and estimate I've had about 2 gazillion of them. What astounds me most is that they are the exact same price now as they were in 2012.

QOTD: I have never been interested in having my own business. I watched my dad do that, and it convinced me what a bad idea it was. And I would be truly bad at it.
