Finally Friday's Menu
Happy Friday. Nothing new to report on my mom. She's still in the hospital and I'm not sure when she's getting out at this point. My two sisters who were in on a group text with myself and our brother started give my attitude yesterday when I misunderstood a text my brother sent us, and I asked a question about it. They both started yelling at me via the text, so I blocked them. They wonder why I don't go to family functions because they are all ******** plain and simple.
So that American Airline and Black Hawk crash yesterday was just horrible. Of course there are all sorts of speculations as to what happened, whose fault it was, and all sorts of stupid crap. I feel so bad for all the families who lost loved ones due to this tragedy.
QOTD: Do you like to fly? Nope. I've only done it twice and would prefer to keep my feet on the ground. Plus, I don't like heights.
B: coffee
L: pizza from La Stella's
D: baked stuffed flounder
30 minutes on the treadmill
Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!!!!

Good morning all. Hope you're all doing ok. Jen, sorry to hear about the family crud. I'll never get why some feel the need to be like that. I'm so glad you stand up for yourself.
Not a lot planned for the day. Yesterday was ok. We went to this place called Golden Chick. Some may have it, was not impressed. It wasn't horrible but so bland. I did fairly well and chose the green beans(wanted fried okra). I did have a smallish role so that was my splurge.
Thta was very sad. I agree about the blame game crap. Some were blaming before anything could be known about it. Just disappointing but not surprising.
QOTD: I have only flown once, out of Denver to Edmonton, AB. It was when the canola fields were about to be harvested. So beautiful. I loved it. BUT I found I hate airports. My anxiety and peoples lack of respect for personal space...a no go.
B: protein waffles, coffee and cheese
L: veggie bowl
D: beef stew

Good morning all and Happy Friday,
LadyG- I have come to accept that text messages are the worst way to communicate about anything that can't be answered with a 5 word answer. I have misunderstood and lost relationships over erroneous meanings taken from texts.
It's time for the weekend. Yay yay yay.
My treatment yesterday went well. However, I'm going to tell my aide not to pick me up anymore. I let her know that treatment was intense so I'll just listen to my headphones for the ride. She kept trying to talk when I asked to be left alone to listen to music. It wouldn't be a big deal but the EsKetamine treatment messes with the brain thoughts-> mouth messages connection andi can't express complete thoughts sometimes. It becomes very overwhelming for me.
QOTD- I don't like to fly but accept that it's necessary if I wanted to travel in a shorter amount of time than by ground. I used to get very nervous take off and landing and would close my eyes the whole time. Now, it's not a not deal.

I am leaving for Vegas 2/9 and hope my trip is as fun as yours looked. Some of our plans are to eat at Gordon Ramsey's Hells Kitchen, a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon with a landing in the canyon and a Champaine lunch on the ground, a SUV trip to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, and a few shows.
I used to fly four times a week and did that for several years. I get on a plane, get situated an usually fall asleep during the flight. I do not want to be woken up for food or snacks. I do put some crackers in my purse in case I wake up hungry.
My favorite trips are when the leaves are turning over Pennsylvania in the autumn. The colors are fantastic in the hills and mountains. Millions of people fly safely everyday. When there is plane crash, people get scared, but it is really extremely rare.
I do feel bad for the people in the latest crash and do not think they will ever know what really happened that night.
It is up to 40 and the snow is melting. I can see the ground for the first time in about a month. I know Spring is still a ways from here, but it gives us hope.
