What's on your Thursday Menu?
Happy Friday Eve. Brrr it's cold again this morning. Yea I know I should be used to it by now, but taking the dog out at 4am and having that cold air smack you in the face is not the wakeup call one wants. LOL
So funny story. Apparently, our cat Finley caught a rabbit and brought it into the garage at some point yesterday. The garage is attached to the house and when I take Meisha out to the backyard we go through the garage and out the backdoor. Well, she found said rabbit who was already half eaten by the cat. She took the rabbit outside to finish eating it. Now remember she is raw fed, and the cat is at times when he feels like it. Well Finley came flying up from the side of the house to see her eating his rabbit and I have never in my life seen a cat so pissed off. He was staring into her soul. Meisha took the rabbit and ran behind the greenhouse with the cat in pursuit. She ate the rest of it and then tried to be all nicey nice to Fin. Well, he wasn't having any of it. Finley went Halloweenie cat on her. A 65lb German Shepherd got her ass handed to her by a 10lb Manx cat. Lesson learned do not take Finley's food especially if it is a rabbit he caught. We couldn't stop laughing.
QOTD: This is going to be funny. Would you rather deal with a German Shepherd who looks all big and scary (but really just wants to give you kisses) or a Demon cat who wants to steal your soul for taking his food. LOL
I'm going with the GS. That cat scared me I swear his eyes turned red and he was out for blood.

Good morning y'all.
Thats why I don't want to live on a farm. LOL. We had a cat that was a wonderful mouser and if you tried to get it from him the sounds...oh the guttural sounds!
Not a lot planned for the day. I need to get my T4 prescription figured out as they called for a preauthorization even though nothing has changed. Hoping to hear from the clinic this morning. It's frustrating. Had a bit of a freak out, tired of this bull**** kind of moment. Guess I needed to get that out. Medical stuff is just frustrating. We're having an extreme cold snap and might be under freezing for 4 to 5 days. Will be prepping for that today and tomorrow.
QOTD: dog, any dog over the demon cat. I adore cats but enough to know when to back away!
B: eggs, cheese, turkey sausage and coffee
L: maybe oatmeal
D: chicken breast and some veggie
this cracked me up this morning. Only if!
Mel I think you would love living on a farm just because you get along well with animals.
That meme is great. Some people would need an entire truck of poop dumped on them to grow up.
Good Morning Jennifer and Menuers,
Wow I agree with the cold. The Early morning walksies have been brutal. On the good side Rudy is learning to get it done quickly. I won't let him in till his business is done so he has been quick. I do not know what next week will bring when they are predicting negative temperatures in the morning for most of the week. I was fortuning to stop at Macy's one day last week and got a full-length Columbia coat lines with their technology. When I first wore it I thought it was way too hot. I am absolutely grateful for it now and it was only $70.
The training here at work has been going very well. Does anyone else use a SAP system. It is pretty self-explanatory. However, they have been bringing in lunch every day, so my choices have not been great food wise. We did Chick Fillet Monday, Tuesday was Burritos and Queso from Moe's, Yesterday was peperoni rolls, and Chicken bacon ranch rolls and a salad, and today is Pizza. I am opting out of the pizza. I already had 1 protein shake so hopefully I will resist the temptation.
QOTD: Even though dogs are high Maintenace I love the cuddles and how much I am appreciated by my dog. GS for the win!

SAP is an amazing company. I remember introducing it to a NASDAQ account back in the early 1990's and trying to get people to call it S A P and not sap. The term cloud was new to many people then and we actually had a executive who we told that his data was going in the cloud ask what would happen to his data if it was a sunny day.
