Great deal on the ham! It'll be nice for you with that time off!

Good morning Jennifer and Menuers,
Thanks for starting us off this morning. It is raining cats and dogs here. Couldn't even get Rudy out to do his business. He hates the rain. I had a very nice weekend; The theater was awesome. Lots of kids in the production and they were the cutest. Bingo was fun but no success at winning anything. It was for the local Humane Society, so I am ok with donating to them. I got my cycle shoes. Today the clips should come, and I'll be ready to cycle. I went to the gym Saturday but this week there having some kind of competition, so I won't be joining them. I got very little Christmas decorating done so I need to get at it tonight.
QOTD: I have always been a dog person. Rudy has been a big old cuddle bear lately. I do not know what changed but he likes to be laying on either me or Ron. It keeps me from snacking because I do not want to get up and disturb him.
Accountability: I made a chocolate espresso old fashion and lots of carbs. I was not very disciplined this weekend.

Is there anything better than a cuddly pup? So glad Rudy came into y'all's life!

Morning gang. Everything is pretty much normal here. I just got off the phone with my bariatric office, just to schedule my yearly check-in. It's a virtual visit, not even in-person, and the earliest appointment they had is March 27. Yikes. And that's with the PA.
I'm finally back on the post-Thanksgiving wagon, and looking forward to two good weeks of eating before the Christmas crap-food-fest starts. I hate it. And love it. The struggle never ends.
QOTD: I guess I don't have a preference. The drawback to dogs is you have to live by their schedule -- take them out and walk them when they need to go. Cats are on their own. But cats are more apt to act like dicks than a dog.

QOTD- I love both but only have cats now. Dogs are too much maintenance and I'm not sure I could do them justice. I don't have a totally fenced backyard so I couldn't turn them out. I love my cats I can't imagine my life without them.
I tried a bell collar on my "bird killer" cat, 3 dead in 2 days. He absolutely hated it. He got his paw stuck trying to take it off, and when I put it back on he hid under the couch and then under the bed. Even after I took it off he still spent most of the day under the bed. I feel so bad that I traumatized him, I was just trying to prevent more bird deaths. Of course he brought them in the house and there are feathers everywhere. When I tried to take the last one away from him he growled at me multiple times. He's never done that before.
The Ducks ended the regular season at 13-0, so much for them not being able to hang with the big boys. Both of the former PAC-12 teams came out well AZ State is the Big 12 champion and Oregon is the Big 10 champion. The Ducks have a first round bye and play either Ohio State or Tennessee in the Rose Bowl. But Jan 1 is a long wait, and I'm not sure I can get ESPN without cable, and ESPN+ doesn't show the ESPN games. Maybe I can see it on Hulu.
I've been dealing with vertigo since last week. I didn't work Thursday or Friday and tried not to move my head very much. On the plus side I hardly ate anything all weekend. I know what it is BPPV, and usually it goes away in a few days or I learn not to turn my head or bend down. Just not fun.
I'm not sure how the Seahawks won on Sunday but a win is a win. Not that I expect them to do anything in the playoffs.
I need to get back to work. Have a great day everyone!

My late Merlin was a hunter to the core. If you dare tried to get the prey away he would let out these horrid sounds. He would eat most of it but always left parts. It was so gross.
Hope the vertigo lets up, that's just so awful to deal with!
