My mom has a poor appetite to, but I make her drink one Ensure a day, and she talks a protein supplement in her OJ every morning. But if you are still taking your vitamins, you should be fine. Glad to hear your appetite is back.

I do take my vitamins and try my best to get the protein supplements down. My biggest problem was being dehydrated and very low blood pressure like 90/40. They had me start using salt on my food and that did help a lot. But lately everything tastes really good and I don't want to gain any more weight.

Good morning, everyone!

We are down to the orange vegetables: turnip, butternut squash and sweet potatoes. Although, Marilyn usually throws everything away today. I'm not sure anything will be around when I get home this evening.

Jennifer, a Bariatric appointment on the Monday after Thanksgiving is a tough draw. I have an Endocrinologist on New Year's Eve, so I can sympathize with you.

With the late Thanksgiving, we are way behind schedule for Christmas and we have a busy weekend ahead. We will have to find time to shop and decorate.

QOTD: Great weekend, picked DD and her boyfriend up on Wednesday, Road Race Thanksgiving morning and a dinner with all children out of their rooms.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: something and orange veggies

Have a great day, all!

Proud of your Turkey trot! It was cold so glad you stuck it out. I probably would have bailed.

There were close to 7,000 runners! Lots of cute costumes and dogs. One house was giving out Bloody Mary and donuts instead of water.

That would be some amazing race. Back when I was running Turkey Trots we got a bottle of water at the 1/2 way point. It was long before weigh loss surgery and I really enjoyed that turkey dinner after the morning run. I also liked wearing my race t-shirt to dinner that day.

Surprisingly I lost 5.5lbs from the last time I was there 6 months ago. That was a nice surprise especially since yesterday we had a birthday party for one of the granddaughters.
