I hope there is not much turbulence. I was prepared for what happened and not surprised. I am just hoping to go with the flow. Not going to think much about it.

I prepare some things that I could eat on Thanksgiving. I make the green bean casserole and candied sweet potatoes with marshmallows for others. I will fix myself some fresh steamed green beans and a baked sweet potato.

My first Thanksgiving after surgery I remember counting out seven kennels of corn, one teaspoon of mashed potatoes, and a one inch cube of turkey. I was stuffed. People thought I was "showing off" but it was six weeks after surgery and I was not yet able to eat solid foods. A year later I was past that phase and could eat a normal plate of food.

Good Morning Matt and Menuers,

I am having a great day!!! Went to bariatric doc yesterday. He mentioned giving me Pheniramine last time if I was still struggling but found out insurance has changed, and they do not approve it till your BMI is 35 and over. He said get back to exercise since it looks like most of my food choice are spot on. Grr I want an easy way out like it used to be. Oh well I guess I need to suck it up and do it.

QOTD: I changed the green bean casserole to Arkansas green beans, but I think it has more calories due to the brown sugar. So, I try to control it with portions because I'll feel deprived it I do not.

Accountability: I had 4 mini candy bars and 2 caramel cups.

TSS: 6 years 10-months 29-days 168 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Coffee-mate pumpkin spice creamer

MS: snack select, Oikos pro mixed berry Greek yogurt, blueberries

CB: Coffee with SF Coffee-mate pumpkin spice creamer

L: Chicken meatloaf mashed potatoes and green beans

D: Garlicky Braised beef shanks.

Exercise: Dog walking

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest blessings

Chrissy

that's weird your insurance doesn't cover phentermine. That's the only thing mine DOES cover unless your BMI is over 30 (or 35? Can't remember). So I'm stuck with that. It does help a bit.
