Good morning ~ Thirsty Thursday here we go again! The new ice machine at work was finally hooked up on Monday. I had no idea how many people rely on ice to simply hydrate. It's made such a difference in my intake over the past 3 days and I need all I can get. When I got home yesterday, I was determined to to make up that weight session and get to 10k before sitting down. I knew I would fall asleep watching TV, I always do. Know thyself. So I will try to make that a habit - knocking out the last of my lifestyle checklist before relaxing. This includes evening vitamins - how many times have I forgotten these? More that I care to admit, but I'm trying. All the things matter and it's exhausting, but worth it. Work is work - I'm so over my job right now.

I'm currently reading The Shift - the book White Dove recommend and so far it's really resonating. It's not about WW, food, what to eat or how to lose weight it's about mindset around losing weight and so far pretty interesting. I have only read through the intro and chapter one but I would recommend - especially to those who beat themselves up with a lot of negative self talk. I will share more as I learn. So much QOTD inspo!

QOTD - How different are your eating and exercise habits on weekdays vs weekends?

My exercise is consistent during the week, but the weekend it'**** or miss, mostly miss. I want to change that and not because I want to punish myself or love exercise! But I love how it makes me feel - good, strong and healthy and isn't that enough? With food I am usually spot on weekdays and scheduled to death so I am more liberal and flexible on the weekends. I try to roll with whatever is happening and make good choices but let's be honest - I rarely ever lose weight over the weekend! I struggle with losing weight while maintaining a sustainable lifestyle that doesn't have me going off the rails from deprivation.

Accountability - great, 84 active minutes, 11,941 steps. Today I am 165.8! I would say I'm dehydrated but I know I'm not! 30 minutes done on the treadmill and I have a yoga/stretch session and my step round up planned for after work.

B- coffee, protein bar

l - chicken and mini caesar salad kit

d - heavy on the meat sauce w/parm and baguette

s - quest chips w/greek yogurt

Have a great day!!

Good Morning! Friday-Eve and I've got kind of a busy day for a non payroll week but that at least means the days fly by, right? Great job on hitting your goals and acknowledging that you matter!

QOTD: Unlike during the week I don't usually have a plan for lunch/dinner but my exercise routine is pretty much the same. I want to add back in an outdoor run on the weekends but I'm not there just yet.

TSS: 10 years 2 months

B: SF latte, 3 turkey sausage links, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, carrots, light and fit yogurt and some fruit

D: Turkey burger on keto bun, a banana, and dark chocolate

ES: Protein ice cream and carbmaster toast

E: 1/2 hour elliptical, 1 mile on treadmill and 20 mins Pilates bar

V/W: On track

Are you currently walking or running the mile on the treadmill? When I was running, I always wanted to run outside but could never get the rhythm right so I stuck to the treadmill. I still dream about running, especially outdoors! but it was too hard on my hips and knees.

Treadmill only. I miss my outdoor runs so much but some of the issues I still have could be traced back to a fall when I sprained it pretty bad.

Good morning, everyone!

We did end up going to Octoberfest last night and it was as yummy as I anticipated. We ordered a couple of beers and split a pretzel with dipping cheese and then I had a bratwurst and some sauerkraut. Even a bite of strudel for dessert!

With swimming and CrossFit yesterday, plus the beer, I definitely joined the fall asleep in front of the TV club. And then I slept 7.5 more hours according to the CPAP.

This morning I am on the train and heading into work. This is a scheduled rest day, but I may switch with Sunday and go to the gym tonight.

QOTD: Pretty similar. When I was getting ready for the Triathlon, I was working out a lot on the weekends, but now it?s usually about the same. I am less likely to eat out on the weekends.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Turkey Sandwich

Dinner: Steak

Have a great day, all!

Do you bring your lunch to work? That's a good habit.

That's great, you can get the nutrition benefits while telling yourself that you are saving money or vice versa.
