Good morning! My night was a bit long due to my calves still screaming. And weird dreams. But I got plenty of sleep in between movement that made me wake up OUCH OUCH OUCH! Hard work out yesterday. Burned 581 move calories, 124 minutes of exercise and 11,569 steps. I managed two trips around the egym machines, treadmill and a killer 55 minute class yesterday. I stopped at the butchers on the way home and got some excellent meat for this week. And I controlled it with calorie intake yesterday. Good choices for almost the entire day. I even bought a cookie and took one bite and realized I didn't like it so I put it back in the packet with the others for Roger. He'll love finding cookie with teeth marks in it. Not. Ha!

Today I need to take a nice long stretch walk. Wednesday is usually rest day, but I have to get the grands tomorrow so I am switching it up a bit. But a good 45 minute -hour walk will help my leg pain move on out. Also would like to clean out my sweater section of my closet. Time to let some things go. While my weight has been relatively stable, my shape has been changing. Things fit differently and I'm embracing that. Or, I am dying to do some retail therapy and this is a great excuse to do so. So many cute new sweaters out there! Other than that, reading, housework, etc.

QoTD: I think I'd like to have ****tails with Blake Shelton.

bites today

B: cheesy eggs

L: Trader Joe's chicken salad and a few crackers

D: Poke bowl

Peace!

I have never met a cookie that I could put back once I bit into it. Cookie with teeth marks is hilarious.

I can't imagine how large a cookie would need to be, to keep me from finishing it.

Of course, if I thought it was a chocolate chip cookie and it turned out to be raisins, I'd ditch it for sure.

I actually do it quite a lot. Take a bite, say eh...not worth the calories and then hand it over to Roger. He's like Mikey. He eats anything.

Oh, but I love a great oatmeal raisin cookie! Maybe even more than a chocolate chip one. Blasphemy, I know.

That is true blasphemy. Raisin?
My son loved my oatmeal choc chip cookies, and for school or jr guard potlucks he always put me down for cookies. His secret was he would never tell anyone there were choc chips and not raisins, so not many kids would gravitate towards them. He would share this top secret only with his closest friends so between 3-4 of them they would eat cookies made for 30-40-50 attendees depending on the event. I was low key proud of him. Like mother like son, we sell our soul for a cookie.

A girl after my own heart. Oatmeal Raisin rocks. I love plain Raisin cookies too, but I have never made them on my own.

G'morning all!

Yma - did anybody ask the girl why she wanted to meet Diddy? Maybe to strangle him?

I feel that meme in my bones; for most get togethers I need to know at what time I'll be off the hook, is it school night, and most importantly is there cheese? That's coming from me who used to stay up till 5:00 am at the clubs dancing the whole time. Where did that girl go?

QOTD: Charles Darwin. I would like to discuss his evolution theory because it seems somehow in the last 8-10 years people with least advantageous traits are reproducing at an alarming rate.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Epic chicken, Wilde chicken chips, hb egg
  • Starbucks pumpkin cream cold brew
  • Protein Icecream - Nutella
  • Carb ceviche with quest chips
  • E: 6 miles wog

Happy hump day!

The movie Idiocracy comes to mind when it comes to evolution or devolution of the human race.
