Good morning gang! I hope you are all hitting mid-week super-charged with the weekend in sight! Another hot day here, but the food was pretty good, lots of good protein, fruit and veg options. I met up with my old neighbors for tacos last night. They are the ones who gave me our cat, Bubs it was great to catch up! Today is training, panels and more people-ing. I miss my treadmill time in the morning! Isn't that funny? I actually enjoy it and I'd walk here now, but safety is an issue. I am skipping the group event of a Kings game and may join a group walking to Old Town tonight

QOTD - Name a famous person living or dead that you would like to have dinner with and why? This was the obligatory icebreakers question yesterday. After the many repeat answers of Jesus, various presidents and Kobe Bryant... one girl said Diddy. Diddy? The room went dead. Then it was my turn. How do you follow that? I could not remember my clever answer for the life of me so I blurted out Donny Osmond! Because I've been in love with him since I was 4!! No shame, everyone laughed and my answer stands!

Accountability - great on food, 15 active minutes and 8,966 steps. Today all good bites, all the steps I can get.

B- coffee, eggs, bacon, fruit

l - TBD

D- TBD

S - cheese, protein ba, cuties, quest chips, edamame

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning! Diddy? Yikes. I would have HR investigate, lol.

Huge shout out to Teenie, who connected my weird temperature symptoms to Wegovy. Apparently feeling extreme cold is very common. I am really glad that it's not likely connected to menopause, because none of the women in my family have had extreme symptoms and I don't want to have that in my future.

QOTD: Jimmy Carter please! And if we could make it a dinner party, I would ask Abe Lincoln, Dolly Parton, Betty White, John Oliver, and Tina Fey to join us.

Accountability: Not enough steps and too much wine but food was on point.

I ordered some new swag for my business and I guess I am not a large? Haha. So comfy though. I rocked my sweatshirt dress yesterday :)

  • turkey sausage
  • turkey meatloaf
  • chickpea tortellini (I am so sick of this but it's so dense that I have only been able to have 2 bites at a time, so it was approximately 80 servings instead of 2 as the box indicated)

Why do I think a pair of leggings and short boots would look amazing with that sweatshirt. Love it.

The shirt is so cute, but you need it in a small.

I was just going to start the thread and then refreshed quick in case someone else did. LOL

My boss gave the two shift supervisors verbal warnings for the BS they pulled on Monday and work was a bit better yesterday. Next week we participate in Walktober something that we've been doing for a few years now. We will be offering tours of the plant so people can learn how a waste-to-energy plant works. So far, we have 53 ppl signed up for the tours. Then the following week we are back in an outage for boiler 2. I can't believe this year is almost over.

I did get my tacos yesterday from a little food truck a few miles down the road from the plant. Very authentic and tasty. Will definitely go back.

QOTD: Nikola Tesla. He was the Einstein of futuristic technology. I would love to pick his brain about his different electrical inventions. If the government/elites hadn't pushed fossil fuels and gas-powered vehicles we would have been driving electric vehicles 100 years ago. God forbid if the Rockefellers didn't get to make their money off of oil.

B: coffee and I might have an egg/ham sandwich

L: left over tacos

D: Ruben's with corned beef and pastrami

Have a great day everyone.
