What's on your Tuesday Menu?
on 10/1/24 2:54 am
Happy Tuesday, Friends. Welcome to adulthood, where I will share how tired I am with you all, haha. The crappy thing that happened last week at work came to an outcome yesterday. I think it went well, but it was stressful, and I dreamt about it on a loop all night. Today should be a pretty quiet day (knock on wood).
QOTD: If you could try any job for one day, what would you try? I can't decide between being a food critic or a high end personal shopper. Who am I kidding? -- food critic.
Accountability: Not perfect by any means, but still better than most days last week. Still no Wegovy, so I am winging it, but I was on track for the first few meals. I ended the day with leftover pizza and wine, though, which wasn't great but it felt like a fitting end to my stressful day, nonetheless.
- protein coffee
- chicken & broccoli
- honey garlic chicken
- chickpea tortellini cacio e pepe
G'morning all!
JB - being in HR is not for everybody, kudos to you for dealing with all the weird stuff. I always look at HR as customer service, you are never happy when you end up in customer service or HR. You guys wheats get the trouble issues.
This is one of those "only in Santa Cruz" and why we have bumper stickers that says keep Santa Cruz weird. The sea lion decided to hop on the freeway to see what's going on. CHP had to stop traffic in order to escort the sea lion to the beach. We always think the grass is greener on the other side.
QOTD: my one day job would be luxury travel planner. I know it has a lot of details to take care of, hence not really wanting the job, but to plan really high end travel with no budget constraints would be a dream. I also would like to do the personal shopper, but who are we kidding? I'd keep all the shopping for myself.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- TikTok cucumber salad w/hb eggs & avocado
- Cuties X 3
- Protein Icecream - choc chip cookie dough
- E: 6 miles wog
Happy taco Tue!

I love that second picture.
Trooper: "Go over there."
Sea Lion: "No."

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

It was more like the officer trying to keep the traffic away from the sea lion, and the sea lion was like "I'm just gonna stand here, enjoying the view of the fields, and pretend this whole traffic jam is not because of me!"

Those two areas do make a world of difference. I get obsessed with closets and storage areas. Went from a house with attic, basement, and garage to a 2-bedroom condo and have to be so careful not to buy too much and to keep it all under control. I love Marie Kondo and Home Edit.
