Pilates bar, tell me about this? Is it one of those bungy-pole equipment I've seen or is it a Pilates+barre class? I did pure barre once at my heaviest and thought I was going to die. My two girlfriends who were more slender also thought they were going to die so I don't think it was just me, lol

I got it from Amazon, yes it's one of the bungee pole kits. It just helps me stretch. I try and stick with upper body one day, lower body another day.

That's excellent! Stretching is so important for us as we age plus double important for desk workers too!

Mornin' All!

one more day of this packed two-week period and things should lighten up quite a bit. I'm really behind on classes, though - ugh. At least I'm not being graded..

Lots of interesting talks and interviews in town this week. I've seen Nancy Pelosi and Doris Kearns Goodwin. Tomorrow there's Liz Cheney - but Kamala Harris is also in town, at the same time - cripes. Although given we're a swing state, Harris is likely to come back before the election, so I guess I'll go see Cheney. Saturday is Heather Cox Richardson. Looking forward to all of this!!

QOTD1: yea I just logged in after being gone for a couple of days and noticed she has some posts on the DS forum. I'd say continue to block her. It doesn't take long before she spirals out of control again.

QOTD2: yes I still take it. I occasionally try to get off, but after a few days my intestines start feeling like they're full of cement again. I wish there was another answer (I take magnesium every day, too)

coffee with half & half

protein pancakes topped with plain skyr and strawberry compote

protein shake

I'd really love to have lunch in the building across the street from my class (I recently discovered they serve Indian food!), but I'm feeling super bloated. Probably better to have something here before I go. Maybe just a protein pumpkin muffin

protein bar (?)

maybe vegetarian taco filling with tomatoes, plain skyr and salsa for dinner

have a great day, everyone!

Wonderful that you have so many amazing female role models to see!

Sadly it seems like the spiraling seems to have taken under 48 hours. The storytelling begins.

Good Morning Queen JB and menuers,

So busy lately and just trying to get my act together but nothing seems to be working. First of all, my toe is definitely broken (ortho x-rayed again and clearly broken) so I am not to do anything to disrupt the healing at this point. I know I could be doing more when it comes to exercise like squats, crunches leg flutters. There is a lot I can be doing without putting a ton of pleasure on my foot, but my mind is not in the mood to lose weight or be healthy. I got to get back on track and I have a plan but implementing it is going to be the tricky part. I will be released on the 27th to be out of the stabilizing shoe but I want to get my weight down without exercise in the meantime. I am so over being fat again but finding it hard giving up dinners out and bourbon. It makes life so much easier. I am not on the Alcoholic train. It may be 3-5 drinks a week, but it definitely shows on the scale, and I need to knock it off.

QOTD: DO NOT UNBLOCK HER! If you do I will never post again.

QOTDII: Yes, every day. It is a bad habit I cannot break. I have tried and failed more than once. I also do fiber with it.

Accountability: I been grazing for days.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest blessings

Getting our heads on track is the hardest part. For me it sure is. But you're hanging in there, that's the biggest thing. Keep swinging.

Ha, no I would never unblock. I just wanted to know if someone else who doesn't block her wanted to start the thread so she can participate. I really don't want to be an ********o if someone else wanted to deal with it, it's fine with me!

Sorry you are having a hard time getting on track but it sounds like you are motivated and that is definitely step 1!
