Did they do a test for ferritin?

I agree, it seems like a low iron issue. The Proferrin really helped JB on her latest labs.

Are you still taking Bariatric Vitamins? I take Iron with my multi. Looks like iron issues to me.

Hey gang. It's nice to be back. I had a great week, and learned a bunch of new skills. But it was really tiring, and I missed the Queen.

I did have a never again moment. The teacher and his wife had us stay for dinner Friday night, and we had spaghetti. I've only had pasta once in the past 12 years, and it didn't go well. This was worse. I felt great for over an hour, but was feeling terrible by the time I got back to the motel. I was in agony for a few hours, and finally most of the spaghetti came back up. Never again. I don't know why I can eat a steak with no problem, but pasta is so hard.

I didn't even have time to read the thread last week, so I don't know what I missed. I hope all of you are well.

I can eat pasta, but not much. Maybe an ounce or so, and even that sits in my stomach like a brick. If I ate even a half cup I think I'd have a night like yours. Sorry to hear this!

I think we all have a kryptonite food. Some seem able to eat pasta just fine. And really, it was never something I ate more than once every month or too, so I don't miss it much.

I guess it's good to know the surgery is still working.

Oooh, pasta is the enemy.
Imagine me going back home, Italy, and not touching pasta. I can't even fake it for half hr. If I eat two forkfuls I get stuck right away and just sit at the table not being able to swallow one more bite. Same with the rice dishes.

I've never tried rice, but that happens to JB as well.
