Happy Friday, my friends! I am going to make this quick because I have a billion things to do before we leave for our trip to Minneapolis. We get in around 6pm, then we're heading straight to a Twins game :) The wedding is tomorrow night, and then Sunday they are inviting everyone to their cabin on the lake to hang out. We leave late afternoon on Monday. So we do have some time on Saturday before the wedding and Monday before the flight to do some sight seeing. I need to see the Mary Tyler Moore statue! I think I want to see the George Floyd memorial, too. Other than that--what else is happening in the Twin cities? Suggestions welcomed.

QOTD: Where are my pumpkin spice people at? I'm here! I'm hoping to get my first PSL of the season at the airport today!

Accountability: Fine. I still felt a little off all day so I never had real meals, just little snacks like handfuls of sunflower seeds, almonds, and cheese. I finally had an egg wrap in the evening. Still holding strong with the losses from earlier in the week. I'm about to take another Wegovy shot, plus we're traveling today so I really don't have a menu.

Good mornin everyone! Safe travels to you and Grim!

Kind of a busy day today. I need to get groceries. A trip to Sam's too. I'm feeling really groggy this morning. It got up to 108° yesterday. It was so miserable to say the very least. I needed to work on chainmail but it was just too hot. We only have window units in a few select rooms. I am ready for cool temps and even winter at this point.

QOTD: I'm not into the whole pumpkin spice stuff. I always think it's going to be good and I'm underwhelmed. I like more clove in my spice. I do enjoy the L&F yogurt with a couple of crushed ginger snaps. I do like actual pumpkin based stuff if I make it myself and can control the spice. I'm a weird one in that I love clove. If it makes my tongue numb the better it is. I also like just a pinch of anise and cardamom.

food is unplanned today. I had eggs for breakfast. Lots of coffee. Lunch will likely be chicken. Maybe a wrap though. Dinner...depends on what I get at the grocery store.

Morning all. I have no pictures. I'm terrible at remembering to take pics.

I'm partway through packing, and taking a break. I'm a little nervous about flying today. It's not the flying part, I think that's great fun. It's the being cramped up in a seat for a few hours that bothers me. I haven't been on a plane since before I met JB.

Good morning, everybody!

I liked the Twins baseball stadium. I do remember that the security line was really slow (like half an hour), but hopefully that was just a one day glitch. I don't think that anybody misses the Metrodome.

We are headed into the city for the weekend. I will take the train into work. Marilyn is having lunch with some of her tennis friends and then will take my son's truck into the city with my bicycle in the truck bed. We don't have a whole lot that we need to do before Sunday: attend two 30 minute seminars and drop my bike off. So we should have plenty of time to go to meals, walk around, etc.

If I am hungry at lunch today, I am going to go out for a nice meal to kick the weekend off. I think that I can check into the hotel at 3:00.

QOTD: I don't know much about the pumpkin spice lifestyle. I don't drink very much coffee and when I do it's usually just Dunkin' Donuts Decaf with lots of cream.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Steak and hash browns

Dinner: TBD

Good morning ~ Have a great trip! Work yesterday wa nice, I breezed through many haunting/daunting tasks and realized that I clearly underestimate myself. Anyway, tons more to do today. It's half day but full load, I got this. Afterwards, I'm grocery shopping and running errands. No plans this weekend - nice. Rob has some meals planned of foods he loves to make and a new recipe he wants to try - play on, playa!

QOTD - I'm right here! PSL is on for tomorrow morning when we take our pup to the park. I've been enjoying some grocery store pumpkin cold foam - what a treat (20 cals per tbsp) and I just ordered some Jordan's Skinny pumpkin spice sauce - it's thick and looks like Starbucks sauce. If it's good, I will seriously buy them out.

Accountability - great, except for the bougie ice cream social at work yesterday. I had sheep's milk lemon ice cream. It was just okay. 15 active minutes, 6,995 steps. I realized that I've changed my step habits because before I would average 3-5K without exercise, so that has improved! Today - I'm 169.6, 20 minutes on the treadmill done - thank you Sheila
