What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

I'm always amazed at how they glide almost above water, especially the free style.

My friend, who was a swimmer said that Katie doesn't really kick. I will have to watch out for that next time I see her.

I need to watch more film of them underwater, but it's mostly upper body. I still need to improve my kick!

Good Morning! I'm here for the Fri-yay! Glad you felt special on your birthday, you deserve all the love and I hope the weekend is wonderful too! This weekend I have a hair appt but not much else. Em is going to the lake for weekend so her cat will stay with us so extra cuddle time.

QOTD: Yup and even now once in awhile I'll hear one in the neighborhood. There are also shaved ice trucks that come around occasionally called Kona Ice.

We have Kona here to. Our company is having them swing by next Monday for a Suprise treat. The only thing is they have no SF options. I feel so bad for the kids who can't have sugar.

The ones here have SF. I used to get every now and then when I was WFH during Covid.

No ice cream truck when I was growing up. There was a Dairy Queen a few blocks away and we all went there every day in summer for a nickel coin. We had a bread truck, a produce truck and milk delivery. Now there is an ice cream truck there but the others are long gone.

I remember the Milk truck and we had a huckster truck. Huckster could have produce and textiles. So ,shoes underwear it was always a crap shoot of what was on the truck. We also have the Charlie Chip truck that sold Potatoe chips in cans. Did you have Charlie chips too?

Charlie Chip was after I was grown up, but we had a truck and a Charlie Chip distribution center right up the street from where I was living then. Their chips were always so good.
