What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Meneurs,
I met my new bariatric doctor and talked to the nut yesterday. I could not have had a better experience. He actually read my chart and new my full history. And the nut nailed the issues with the weight gain. I know I graze but she is pinpointing the amount of cheese and nuts I consume. Also, the Alcohol but it wasn't really mentioned. I felt good coming out of there. Nut said to cut back on those things and in three months see where it gets me if at that point, I need assistance we will talk about Pheniramine. They were not to disappointed in my exercise routine. She said when you go hard your body will stabilize and expect that exercise just to maintain a weight. The only way to lose weight by exercising is to increase the amount you do every time you plateau. She said better to control you weight with a good exercise routine for mobility and heart but really concentrate on your food intake and that should help out. So, I need to get back to a normal exercise routine and cut down on alcohol cheese and nuts. Sounds like a good plan to me.
QOTD: I very rarely get takeout from convivence or fast-food places. Most times I sit down and have a waiter take care of it.
Accountability: I few cheese curds because I need to get them out of the fridge and no way was i putting them in the garbage.

Nice that you found the new doctor helpful and you have a plan! You can do it for sure!! I had not heard of Pheniramine, I wonder how that is helpful for weight loss. Bodies and minds are fascinating things, I know Wellbutrin was an antidepressant and a smoking cessation thing, viagra was originally being developed for endometriosis pain and then they found other uses, so I'm very curious how the antihistamine will work for other purposes.

I order in a few times a week with Ubereats, Doordash, or Grubhub. I only eat out when there is plenty of time and I enjoy discussing the menu with whoever is with me. I have never ordered ahead, but know that would be a big advantage if time was limited.
Maine will be a great experience and I know you will enjoy the break. Isn't it strange how quickly we can go from the frustration of looking for a job back to the stress of feeling rushed at work? Enjoy your weekend trip.

QOTD- I admit I'm addicted to Door Dash, Uber Eats and Instacart. I can't remember the last time I actually dined out. If I don't have to grocery shop I'm happy.
The roommate situation is better, he had a job interview yesterday and has another today. The first one might be too hard on him, but he wants to have a regular job and quit Instacart, Grubhub & Door Dash. He's not making enough $ to survive.
It's going to be a perfect summer day today high of 82 low of 52 so it cools off at night.
I hope Jim enjoys the fishing and catches a lot.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all and Happy Humpty Hump day,
I have had such a wonderful morning so far. My weekly treatment got rescheduled to this morning. Since I'm unable to drive after treatment, I chose to take 3 buses as my mode of transportation. I had great conversations with a rando at the bus stop and the bus driver. I don't know how that CTA bus driver can be so chipper dealing with the passengers.
QJB/QOTD- Is Starbucks mobile ordering still down? I also use their mobile ordering all the time. I utilize mobile ordering for Dunkin, Jimmy John's, Panera, Godzilla sushi, Walgreens photo(usually immediate print), and target(my Target's 2hr pickup is usually ~12 minutes fulfillment.)
B: Mocha Tiramisu yogurt.
L: chicken shish ka Bob
D: maybe a steak.
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
