Good morning, everybody!

I have some early mornings the next few days, so I think that I won't post again until Tuesday. Wishing everybody a great weekend.

We fly to Oregon tomorrow morning at about 9:00, fish Friday, Saturday and Sunday and return Monday morning. We are excited to catch something on our bamboo rods.

I had another rainout at swimming last night. I was able to get 300 meters in before the guards called it for lightning, but that was it. I did a double Crossfit class in the morning, so I don't feel slothful, it's just that the race is getting closer and anything that I can do to improve my swimming is needed.

QOTD: Marilyn and I were trying to think of the last time that we went to a restaurant together for dinner and I think that it was May. If I don't have a lunch meeting, i go out for lunch a couple of times a month. And I don't drink much coffee. So, it's been a lot of dining in lately. I am sure that my kids use apps to get food, so in the eyes of American Express I am probably considered an app user.

Breakfast: Bagel (2 onion bagels were inadvertantly placed in the everything bagel pouch - what a time to be alive!)

Lunch: Steak sandwich

Dinner: leftovers

Have a great day, all!

Good morning! I don't use apps for pickup but we do a decent amount of DoorDash delivery when traveling. I refuse to order on the chipotle app anymore because they dramatically mess up our order EVERY TIME!

Today is a Wednesday. Neither busy nor slow. Just regular. I'm jealous of Sheila and Lisa meeting for a hike and shopping and lunching! Fun!

Queen and Grim, have the bestest time in Maine! Im very envious of that too! The trip there with you guys and Jen was so amazing and memorable. I expect you to eat a lot of lobster and cheers to me from afar!

B: I'm gonna hard boil some eggs. I'm low on groceries but I got a meal kit delivery so I'll sort it out.
L: new chipotle chicken tacos from Costco. Just bake in the toaster oven for 10 minutes!

D: salmon and asparagus and couscous and dill crème fraiche. (Clearly from the meal kit!)

Have a wonderful hump day!!

Good morning!

Exciting day over here. It's all Sheila, all day and I'm feeling like a lucky girl. Yesterday went well. I didn't get close to my step count or even tried to get exercise minutes, but I had a very productive day as well as an enjoyable one. I even treated Rog to cold ham sandwiches (from home) for dinner so there was no kitchen clean up to speak of, so no possible mutiny either! Widow Cliquot is slow and beautifully filmed and interesting and enjoyable. NO offense to the men in this group, but, F'ing men. Argh. If you see the movie, you'll get me.

Today will have lots and lots of steps. Some intentional sweat and I hope not too much unintentional. Doing the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park could have Roger being a bit damp for dinner on the patio of the Prado. But it's such a beautiful place -- both the gardens and the patio!

QotD: I did more when I was working before I quit my Starbucks habit. Now, like Jen, only for the movies if I think I need to secure a prime seat and don't want to take my chances.

Almost done with trip photos. Last port of call. Ketchikan. We went to an Oyster farm, which was fascinating, and then back to the ship to take a culinary class where we made a ginger blackberry ****tail, Cioppino , and a dessert.

Peace Everybody!

Ginger blackberry ****tail sounds delish! Your Ketchikan excursion sounds fun. When we were there, we had the kids and they really loved the lumberjack show, it was fun. I enjoyed it too but not quite as much as they did, lol
