What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good morning, everybody!
I Signed up for this 5K, and when I was reading the rules this week, I noticed that it said "Roads will not be closed." Um, what? Are we just going to be dodging cars? Marilyn says don't worry because it's just a suburb, but I'm a little nervous.
Other than the race, it's a pretty relaxed weekend, gym time, cycling and swimming. The plan is to make up our fishing day from last weekend, but I don't know what sort of schedule my son is on.

QOTD: I caddied for 5 summers as a kid, so probably waking up early, walking to the clubhouse and waiting for a loop. Nothing beat having a cheeseburger and an Energade with $20 in my pocket after a day of carrying double bags.
Breakfast: bagel
Lunch: steak and home fries
Dinner: still have that 1/2 burger left

That is crazy they don't close the streets but I road run when I actually being active, and I do not have any problems. Good luck and be safe. Maybe just wear one earbud so you can hear cars coming.

Most days we would go swimming in the lake and do it pretty early. I think we were there by 10:00 AM most days. The water was deep and cold but I still loved swimming in it. My father liked to get there and go home before it got crowded. If we did not go to the lake we went to one of the pools in the park. Everyone in our neighborhood would be at the pool and there was always a good time.

What a beautiful walk to work. I have a fee parking space at work so no need to walk. I wish I had more walking opportunities in my life, but this area is not walker friendly. However, Pittsburgh is big on biking. If you work in town there are plenty of bike lanes to get you around.
This is family reunion weekend. I am making Italian chicken, baked beans, cheesy grits, and my tiple tiered brownies. My brother will make shish Kabob and rice. So the weekend will be spent cooking and eating. I hope I find some control.
QOTD: The pool. We only have 3 months of pool weather so we got to squeeze it in the best we can. I hate when someone has a shower or summer wedding at it takes away from time spent in the pool.
Accountability: Terrible grazed dinner and too much cheese.
