What's on your Thursday Menu?
Mark of the devil!!!! I'm so happy for you!
I remember when you were stuck for a long time, and you've made a lot of really good progress since. Great job.

Thank you! My DL has 666 in it also. I protested when it was issued in 1986 but the state of California didn't seem to care about my soul. Maybe it's lucky for me now!

Good morning, everybody!
Early start today, I have an 8:00 call that I need to be in the city for. Jen, I haven't heard of the badge in/badge out thing yet, but I would hate it. My commute is too long for coffee badging, but I do leave the office a lot earlier than I used to, and don't need anyone to see that.
I have to be in a certain amount to keep my fixed office, so that is my prime motivation to work in person. Having to hotel every day would be a pain. This is how I rank my alternatives:
1) Buy Out
2) Full Time remote work
3) Hybrid to an office
4) Hybrid with hotelling
But 4 is so unappealing that I would not try 2.
We are having food trucks today. I have been super excited about this. Someone did raise the question of how an 80 floor building is going to get lunch from 7 trucks, but I am trying to stay positive.
Thursday is usually a rest day, but I may cycle or swim tonight in order to make the weekend a little less busy.
QOTD: Probably not a follower, per se., so I guess a mix of the other two.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Food trucks, hopefully
Dinner: hamburger
Have a great day, all!

Didn't you also collect a few badge swipes when you were downtown for concerts, that's kind of the same!
I've shared an office since i moved back to Colorado in 2019 but my office buddy retired in Feb so it's all mine now. I celebrated by leaving a couple chomps bars in the desk, lol.
We are seeing a lot of experiments by departments in terms of offices - our finance team kicked everyone out of their offices and turned them all into conference rooms...where all the finance leaders end up sitting most of the day so I'm not sure what that accomplishes.

Good Morning on this Friday-Eve! I know you'll tackle all the things you need to do today. Today will for sure be another busy day for me too. On top of the stuff we were already working on we came across an error yesterday that I have to analyze today to determine the best course of action to take. I hope it doesn't end up in having to write up someone, I really don't like doing that.

Good morning all. JB took the early early early train today. I have no major plans.
I skipped lunch yesterday, which was fine by me. I had a dentist appointment in the morning, and my mouth was still numb. Having access to novocaine makes dieting easier.
QOTD: Rules? I see no rules, only guidelines. Life is gray, not black and white. I'm not a rule-setter. I'm not in charge of anything, and never wanted to be. It's enough work being in charge of myself.
