Good morning! Weird week indeed. Mine has been mostly normal but then today is packed with back to back meetings. Trying to stuff it all in before the 4 day weekend I guess! My company was awesome and gave us Friday off. It will be nice to relax since I have to travel next week Monday through Friday.

We had two cats periodically when I was growing up but they were never fond of each other. And the dogs steered clear! Now we just have one kitty, who so graciously vomited immediately outside the bedroom door about half an hour ago. Thank god I heard it or I could have gone skidding along the wood if I stuck my foot in it. Yuck!

eats today are chicken sausage, salmon, and a chicken quesadilla!

Nothing can wake me from deep restful sleep faster than the sound of a kitty vomiting. One thing that helps a lot is putting their food bowl on a raised platform. When cats get older it is harder to digest their food if they have to bend their neck down to eat.

Good morning, everybody!

We got back from Idaho at about 5:30 last night. Definitely tired, but we had a great time. I should have pictures to share on Friday. The animal count was: Mule Deer, Moose, Elk, Golden eagle, bald eagle, marten, and mink. No bears.

The house was pretty clean when we got home, which is a relief. I'm not sure either boy left the premises while we were gone, though.

Our office is closed today, so I won't be working, except for checking emails periodically. This morning, I have a dentist appointment at 8:00 and a number of errands to take care of. Tomorrow we have an 11:00 pool party with the tennis ladies and 8:00 Crossfit, so Happy Tonight will be likely be cancelled. Probably a bike ride and swimming this afternoon.

QOTD: we don't have any animals.

Breakfast: Protein Bar

Lunch: chicken

Dinner: spaghetti and meatballs

Good morning ~ I'm working on the 5th, no reason to use up vacation time since I don't have plans and plenty of work to do. It'll be a skeleton crew, ghost town at work and those days are kinda fun. Today is just another day to push through and get things done! I am sore everywhere. Yesterday, I had a late lunch then went swimming after work. It was all I could do to push through because I really need an empty stomach for workouts or I become nauseated - especially swimming, yoga and pilates. And the arches of my feet hurt from the rebounder - shoes, no shoes? I've done both. Just normal gentle walking for the next 2 days and back to swimming on Friday.

QOTD - Yes, they all get along well. Rob and I blended to have 3 dogs and 1 cat when we got together. There was definitely a pecking order and they all knew their place. It's interesting how now that we've lost 2 (our alpha and low man), how different the 2 middles personalities have become, like they are now who they are supposed to be.

Accountability - great, 98 active minutes (treadmill, 900 meter swim, rebounder), 11,573 steps. 171.8 this am (I'm not going to get too excited by this number since I'm feeling dehydrated - even while drinking all the fluids and electrolytes...) and 30 minutes done on the treadmill - we'll see about anything else.

b- coffee, protein bar, protein shake

l - ham and cheese on keto bread

d- leftover chicken in a wrap

s - apple w/pb, jerky

Have a great day!
