Morning all! This week has just been so weird. Between yesterday's party, tomorrow's holiday, and today's back-to-back meetings, it's left me with weird starts and stops for getting things done. Friday should be quiet though because everyone is taking the extra long holiday except for me. Yay? :/

Anyone have plans for the 4th? We're sad because the famous local Country Fair closed for the first time in a hundred years during COVID and never reopened. That's where we always spent the holiday and watched fireworks. We haven't found anything good to do since then. We're having some family over for some burgers & dogs on the grill, but thats about it.

QOTD: If you have or had multiple pets, did they get along? Our cat brothers have such a weird toxic relationship. They chase each other and bite and generally seem to hate each other, but they also can't quit each other--they are never apart! If one goes upstairs, the other one follows, etc. I wish I knew if they are playing or not. It doesn't seem lighthearted but then again, I feel like they'd avoid each other if it was more serious? I don't know. All of my other animals have gotten along better then this in the past.

Accountability: Good day. On plan eating and 10K steps. Still no next dose of Wegovy :(

  • protein coffee
  • egg bites
  • chicken
  • ?? I can't even think about dinner yet, sorry.

Mornin y'all.

Not much planned for the day. We may run to the grocery store but that's not set in stone. I need to get some frozen strawberries or blueberries. I've decided to up my protein with a PP shake a day.

No big plans for the 4th. The only fireworks will be in the town just south of us. Pathetic big show here in town is Friday. They are doing a combo fireworks and drone show. I really don't like fireworks and neither do our pups, they'll be really freaked out.

QOTD: ours are brother and sister and it is a love love hate relationship. In one breath they love each other so much and the next fur is flying. In the end they adore each other. Now the dogs are scared of the cats except the chihuahua skippy. She should be though,

B: yogurt, chicken sausage and coffee x 2

L: PP shake with maybe blueberries

D: probably jalapeño poppers

S: ????

does anyone have a favorite protein powder they"d recommend? Also maybe a protein pancak recipe or mix?

the brats and a meme.

Kodiak protein pancake mix is good and can be made higher protein with their recipe with added egg. I use Injury chicken soup powder. I like a hot cup of protein soup better than the sweet protein shakes.

Kodiak frozen flapjack puffs are great mini pancakes when I want a high protein breakfast with no prep except 30 seconds in microwave.

Good morning everyone. Happy July 3! John Adam's insisted July 2 should be the holiday, because that's the day they voted for independence. 6 day weekend!

I had another contractor look at replacing our boiler yesterday, and I've got a two hour visit from the solar installer I picked coming today. Hopefully it will go OK, and they can book me onto their schedule.

This was my grocery shopping last Friday.

Omg that's the funniest grocery cart ever! 16 2-liters of Diet Coke, hamburgers and hot dogs and ham and cheese. Your six food groups. Watch out QJB, some woman at Shaws might get the impression that Grim is single with that cart LOLOLOL.

You didn't count the bottles under the seat. 30 in all. Caffeine free, I will add. And the deli ham is low sodium. So, it's all basically health food.

Grim, I kid you not, yesterday I saw somebody filling up their cart with coke and it reminded me of you! I even looked at the person to make sure it wasn't you!
