Morning! It's Fri-yayyyy! I couldn't be happier :) I have most of the day to catch up on stuff and try to get ahead too because next week is going to be wonky. I have Monday off and then Thursday is a holiday (and they are closing us at 2pm on Wednesday) so I have lots to do today.

I have Monday off because Grim is having a procedure. We'll need to leave here super early so I probably won't start the thread. I'll check in with you guys from the waiting room at some point! Turns out that one of the Deans that I work closely with will be at the same hospital on Monday waiting while his wife has surgery. We will likely be waiting room buddies. Awkward? Maybe. We'll see, lol.

QOTD: Can you sleep in on days when you don't have anything going on? Nope. Sleeping until 5am is a luxury. I will stay in bed for hours watching TikTok and reading if I have no where to be and the cats aren't biting my toes, but I can't actually sleep in.

Accountability: 2 more Lindt balls. And we went out to dinner and I had a few fries with dinner. Today is a new Wegovy shot and I really hope this one is more effective than the last one. I swear the last shot didn't get inside me.

  • protein coffee
  • egg bites
  • chicken
  • ?? dinner out at a place called Johnny Macaroni, haha. I haven't previewed the menu yet.

Have a great weekend - see you Tuesday!

Morning gang. I had a super busy day in the shop, bending and tacking 60 boxes or so. I'm taking the morning off, but then have to go into Boston for a CT scan. I think I need to trim the bushes when I get back, if it's not a million degrees.

I'm going in to Boston for a cardiac ablation on Monday. Apparently my heart is getting extra electrical signals, so they go in and create some scar tissue to stop the signal reaching the heart. Hopefully I'll be out the same day, if they do it early. But I won't have an exact time until later today.

I haven't noticed any issues. But my first inkling was my smar****ch. My Fitbit started giving me notices every day that my heartbeat was unusual, and to get checked out. I felt fine, and it's just a stupid watch, right? Then I got turned down at the Red Cross for a platelet donation, which I had done just two weeks earlier. I had too many random beats in between the normal heart beats. So, I got checked out.

So, it turns out smar****ches are pretty smart. Listen to yours if you have one.

Swing a chicken for me, and I'll have JB let you know how it goes.

It's good that you are getting it taken care of and sounds like you caught it relatively quickly! Good job for paying attention and hope they have you fixed up soon

Thoughts are with you with your heart concern. You are so big hearted that it takes additional heartbeats to match you as a physical specimen and Greek God, Grimmus.
