Good Morning! Hmm, why am I so tired? I slept okay, got enough hours, and I had a slow boring day yesterday so I really have no reason to, but I just feel exhausted this morning. It's an office day, so I have to rally. Hopefully a nice hot shower and more coffee will do the trick.

QOTD: What would you like to see as an olympic sport? I work in the most heavily touristy part of Boston and the people are so slooooooow. They just stop on the street suddenly and take pictures and chat. Groups of teenagers will take up the entire side of the mall and refuse to move. But there are a handful of us who are just trying to get to our commuter trains, so dodging them is both an art and a sport. My walk from the office to the train is about 8.5 minutes (mostly through a fancy touristy mall) and I would love to see an olympic event that turns getting through it those crowds into an extreme race ;)

Accountability: I found crackers.

  • protein coffee
  • egg bites
  • cheese & salami bites
  • ?? I'm too tired to think about this right now

Good morning everyone. I got nuthin.' Just another day, livin' the dream.

QOTD: There was a radio DJ, years ago, arguing with someone about whether auto racing was a sport, and if drivers were athletes. He asserted they were not. He challenged the caller to pick any race driver and car, and he'd race them to his house during rush hour traffic, and win. "That doesn't make me an athlete!" he said. That would be a fun Olympic event.

Good mornin y'all!

We ended up getting a severe thunderstorm last night. Winds to almost 80mph. We lost power for about 20 or 30 minutes. It was 102° before so the house was really hot just in that short amount of time. The only damage we seemed to have gotten was a ton of small branches blown off. I'm shocked our old elms didn't break more. Thankful though! The storms caused some rock slide in Palo Duro Canyon State Park to the south of us and flooding in a few areas.

we have a lot to do today, I have an appointment at 11:20 and we need to run to Sam's and Walmart. It's going to be another scorcher. I am extremely exhausted so this should be interesting. My appointment is with my psych NP and I need to talk to him about stuff. My meds aren't pulling their weight. I've really been struggling.

QOTD: I always wanted skateboarding to be in and now it is. Other than that I am not really into sports so much.

B: egg burrito(los carb tortilla, egg, cheese, turkey sausage, shredded potatoes) and coffee x 2

L: boneless chicken bites and pineapple upside down cake Greek yogurg(it's whole milk but I won't even have a full serving)

D: not sure on this one

S: PP pancakes, zero carb street taco tortilla and 1tbs pb....maybe 2 tsps raspberry jam.

have a good one!

I read that break dancing is going to be a sport this year and it feels about 40 years late!

Good Morning! So it's looking like we won't have our accounting system bac****il Sunday at the earliest so today my day will be meetings to strategize the best way to pay our departments that get paid on commission or work orders. Once we get plans in place for that I'll begin the work of adjusting our workbooks we'll need to use for the payroll in the 20th. It's sure to be a long day. My doctor is submitting for an MRI on my ankle/foot since he isn't seeing much improvement on the tendon yet after the PT and modified (just biking) exercise routine. There may be tissue built up around the tendon in addition to it being inflamed. He is also going to call in a script for an anti inflammatory so hopefully we will have a plan soon.

QOTD: I can't think of anything, building excel workbooks?!? Haha

TSS: 9 years 10 months

B: SF latte, Fiber/protein oatmeal, turkey sausage, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, carrots, light and fit yogurt and some fruit

S: Mixed nuts, a piece of fruit and yogurt

V/W: On track

Totals: TBD

Have a great day!
