I start at 3.5 (I am usually already warmed up from a class) and pu**** to 4. I've been pushing my minutes up, and this week's plan is to do 45 minutes each time. But, I also choose no incline. Just flat and fast.

Flat and fast - YES! It's all about the steps and incline slows me down. I clearly have some work to do. If it weren't for my step goal I'd still be walking at a leisurely 2.5, lol. Okay, when I reach my max speed, I will start upping the minutes. You are challenging me!!!!

Good morning and happy Monday!

Busy week ahead! How do you know you have achieved adulthood? When you are excited that you are finally home to put the recycle out for the first time in....checks calendar...May 7.

qotd - we don't and I am still salty about it. I talked to our BRG leader about it last year and they said the BRG chose MLK bday to add (just last year!!) instead but will be trying to get Juneteenth added. I just contacted our HR leader and recommended we boost morale by surprising everyone with a July 5 bridge holiday. It won't happen, I am sure

I strained my lower back doing a weights+dance class Thursday. Apparently I was supposed to use the baby weights because it was more weighted cardio, oops. It's been feeling better everyday since Saturday but I probably have a couple more days of just stretching, mobility and walking ahead. Definitely getting my walks in in the early am, we have our last super hot day today. The 35 degree temp swing is nice at least the morning low part.
