What's on your Wednesday Menu?

^^I hope you will all chip in for a bench that says this about me when I am gone, lol!^^
Good Morning and Happy Hump Day! I had to triple check that it was really Wednesday--this week is flying by! Yay!
I really enjoyed the piano concert that was part of the interview yesterday. The guy was clearly a young prodigy and hella hella talented. I am in awe when I see talent and perseverance like that. Our second finalist is performing on Thursday, and I am excited to compare their work.
Today we're having the goodbye party for the person I am replacing. She is quite beloved and I think that it's going to be a really big party and the'll be lots of opportunities to schmooze with my deans and chairs. Next, I have to decide what to wear. I can already tell I am going to make this more complicated than it needs to be and I will probably try on 95 things before I leave the house today ;)
QOTD: What's making you feel proud right now? My workplace is very very very relational and therefore in HR we often tell people just to reach out to whoever they know and are comfortable with, rather than just sticking to their assigned partner. For the first few months, I was just "looped in" but no one came to me directly. But the last two weeks I have had a lot of people coming to me first, which makes me feel good about the relationships I am building :)
Accountability: Pretty good. 7891 steps and no snacking.
- protein coffee
- egg bites
- sweetgreen salad
- ground turkey & salsa
Good morning all. Don't worry JB, you'll have a bench, and a bronze statue of you and Fez sitting on it. And don't worry, the screws on your plaque will be properly clocked.
I've got nothing specific planned today, but lots to do. We're leaving for the train in a couple of minutes, and then I'll get to it.
If any of you listen to audiobooks on Audible, everything on the site is on sale until Sunday. I bought several on my wishlist for between 2 and 3 bucks. Fantastic sale.

Great tip on the audible sale. Only one book in my wish list was down under $3 (a bio of Neil Armstrong) but I found that 7 of the great courses that were in my wishlist moved to the listen for free with the audible membership so that is excellent!

I sent the big foot one to my husband. He has great work ethic and is an expert camper.

Did you buy a pair of size 22 fuzzy slippers, so you can follow him into the woods?

Most people don't appreciate a properly clocked set of screws. It's always disappointing.
