You had to start somewhere. Now your familiar the next one will be a better experience on your body. However, looks like the views were very rewarding. I am very proud that you made it. I'm a casual hiker and have no desire to long haul or camp, but I was worried about your HB eggs staying fresh! Glad you made it home alive and hope you had a great time. Gorgeous waterfall - did you swim there?

Yesss! There are several waterfalls and you can swim in all of them.

Mornin' All!

the mason is here again finishing up the chimney rebuild, so I'm kind of stuck here for the time being since DH went into his office today. I don't necessarily have to be here while the mason is doing his work, but he gets paid when the project is done, so I need to be here to hand him the check. Not sure how long this will take. I think it was mostly the flashing and clean up that needed to be done, so maybe not too long. I hope not since it'll be a great biking day again today..

I just scheduled the consult for my potential hip replacement surgery. August 6. Fabulous! I thought I'd need to wait for months, esp since I want the best surgeon in the area. Although that's just the consult - I have no idea how far out he's scheduling surgeries. But even if I have to wait a year, so be it. I've been dealing with this for years, I can certainly wait another few months. I'd rather wait and have the cream of the crop do it.

QOTD: the whole wheat bread with falafel and tomato slices - and hummus even though it's not on the list. If that's impossible, I guess I'd have to pick the avocado, even though that seems a bit weird with falafel. And if I'm allowed another vegetable, then I'll take the cucumber slices, too.

I was out of it yesterday, I woke up with nausea and then came the diarrhea. So I stayed in bed until about 11, and only got dressed in the afternoon to take out the garbage and water my plants.

The weekend was drama with my roommate and the woman he brought over to stay. She was really nice, and wouldn't put up with his **** In other words she expected him to pick-up after himself and not be a slob. So she's got his number and he took her home on Sunday. So I haven't seen him since Sunday, and he told me he has already replaced her. Same old...he blames it on the women but doesn't look at himself.

I personally thought she was crazy to have a strange man drive her to his house (3 hours away) and spend the week with him. By the way they had never met before. I watch too many crime shows and think serial killer.

I need to get to work, I'm behind and stressing myself out. If I don't go into this with patience I get frustrated, so I'm trying to channel patience. Wish me luck.
