Good Morning! Listening to a piano concert as part of an interview sounds like fun but I can imagine it takes the time away from your office stuff. Ugh, my newest team member out in his resignation yesterday. He's been there just under two months and someone reached out to him from the legal field which is what he wants to do. Now we have to start all over! I do have one person that would probably do well that was just laid off from my old company but we just can't pay her what she was making so it doesn't align.

Good morning, everybody!

It's amazing how much those last few pounds really show up in the mirror. When I was MO, I would lose 30 pounds and my suit coat would button better. Same size, though. Lose another 15 and maybe somebody would venture a "Hey, did you lose a few?" Saturday, I saw myself in the mirror and thought "you are swimming in that shirt, you should step on the scale." I weighed in Sunday and was three pounds lighter. LOL.

The open water swim class was very informative and helpful. We learned circling a bouy, sighting (basically alligator eyes), resting (lie on your back rather than tread water), and bumping (basically, just live with it and keep swimming). The down side was that I started in the newbie class and because of the ratio of lecture to swimming, I was in a state of constant shivering by the end of the class. It really took me a couple of hours to warm up. Next week, I either need to get a wetsuit or take the other class section which swims more.

I stopped for a burger on the way home and I think that one of those School of Rock classes was playing at the burger place. The kids sounded awesome!

My older son is sick today, so I will be mowing the lawn. Hopefully he feels better today.

QOTD: 2ABH. I like vegetables on the side, but not sliding around in my sandwich. It turns lunch into a balancing act and gets the bread soggy.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Roast Beef

Dinner: Steak if my son feels better

Have a great day, all!

Men's suits are designed to be very forgiving. Not so much for women's fashions. For women there is about a 20 pound leeway in larger sizes, like size 20. Probably about a 3-5 pound difference in small sizes like between 4 and 6.

Jump in a hot tub when you get cold. That will warm you to the bone. It was cold here yesterday how cold was the water? Hope your son feels better.

I would have loved a hot tub. Even a hot shower would have helped. The other lesson I learned was that you have to bring your own lock to this pool and didn't want to leave everything out while I hopped in the shower.

At my highest weight I could lose 60 pounds and not change sizes. At my lowest, 6 pounds would do it.

Always put cheese next to the bread, on both sides. It keeps the bread from getting soggy from whatever is in the middle. For PB&J, always put the PB on both ends, with the J in the middle. Also keep the bread from getting soggy.

Good morning! Yesterday was just a full day. HIIT class, groceries, cleaning out the kitchen and fridge to accommodate said groceries, laundry, reading, cooking. The day flew by. Under accountability, really good. I did add a piece of chocolate after lunch. A piece of See's chocolate. So like 100 calories. But I also got 101 minutes of exercise logged and 10,220 steps in. Oh and for dinner I made a Pea, Basil and Parm Pesto to drizzle on my pork loin. Labor intensive, but very good and left overs I can use for a week or two.

Today I'm off to the gym in a bit. Treadmill (for step count) "forever fit" and then a yoga/Pilates class. Forever fit is supposed to be geared toward uhm, more mature women, but I think our trainer believes she's done a great job and we are all in much better shape than when she started with us. She's making it much more high energy, heart rates up and making us use heavier weights. But I have been enjoying the class and it rolls nicely into the yoga class that follows it. Also today, lunch with a friend of nearly 40 years. We only get to see each other every couple of years, which is dumb because we live 90 minutes apart. We should make a plan to fix that. By the time I get home from that, it will be nap time and the time to roll into prepping dinner. The day is going to fly by.

QoTD: In my perfect world, 2AC56E and a side of 7. In today's world AC6with a drizzle of E.

A box of chocolates will last me for months, unless it is Grandma See's chocolate. Those I cannot stop eating until they are gone. Wonderful that you could limit yourself to one.
