I'm sorry, but salty yoo-hoo sounds like a euphemism.

I forgot about Yoo-hoo. I think I'm the only one who has never had one.

I've never tried it either. Seems icky.

I don't know if you remember Garelick Farms, a milk brand in MA. There was an interview with an employee, years ago, about their products, including chocolate and coffee flavored milk. He said they used "dump milk" for the chocolate. That's milk that was past its expiration date, and returned by the store.

They Pasteurized it, so it was entirely safe to drink, but it tasted off, and couldn't sell it unflavored. So they added chocolate. The tried it with the coffee flavoring, but it was still off. So the coffee used new milk.

I am not sure there was actual milk in yoo-hoo, lol

I would bet there wasn't.

When I was on shakes, I tried mixing my favorite chocolate powder with water. It was great with 2% milk. Absolutely terrible in water. It's how I picture yoo-hoo.

The name doesn't ring a bell, but ewww! I will never look at chocolate milk the same!
