It would not have occurs to me to pack eggs for a multi day hike! That's brilliant because they are portable once boiled. Safe travels and havs DH text proof of life once you get back to make sure he did too.

HB eggs are my staple of travel food.
The only glitch was the 4 days out of the fridge, but were told we can keep them in the stream, at the campground, to keep them cold.

Before call pnones, phones like that were put in somewhat remote places so people and forest rangers could use them in emergencies.

Good Morning Queen JB and Meneurs,

Awe it is Thursday and heading into the final stretch. I can see Saturday from here. Julia, I don't think you will get beat up, I say go with the shirt. When he makes it big, he will know he has 1 true fan. Have you had a chance to talk to him yet and tell him your common ground. Tell him you must be related. With a common Spanish name myself when traveling south of the boarded I find everyone is related.

I plan on going to pound tonight Saturday I signed up for crazy 8 and Sunday I plan on the trampoline class. It is supposed to be a cool weekend, so I plan on taking a few walks and see if I seriously am bowing out of the 5K, walking it with my brother, or if I am going to gear up, go balls to the wall, and train and run it like a big girl. I will know the answer by Monday.

QOTD: I never bought a shirt with a player's name on it. I was a huge Lemieux fan back in the day and Crosby now. But players come and go, and these guys always stuck around.

Accountability: some PeanutButter and peanuts.

Good morning! Got a little June gloom going on over here but it should burn off in a couple hours. I've been trying to take advantage of it and get outside. Yesterday's work out plan got changed to a trip to the dog beach where the boys played and I hiked up and down the sand. (Jim, out at Coronado dogs beach...right up against the Naval Base) There is also a golf course right inside the fences on the beach and it was kind of cool that the landing strip lights for the base go right thru the golf course. So as you are putting in on one hole, the planes are literally like 50-75 feet above you on approach.

I clocked 53 minutes of exercise yesterday and 10,238 steps. Even with the beach hike, I had to do lots of running around my house and jogging in place to make it to 10,000. Roger says I am making him crazy with this and I said I didn't think it took too much for that to happen and I have goals to meet, man!

I think I will pop over to the gym and take the gentle yoga class and hit the treadmill. That's all I have on my agenda.

QoTD: Not a big sports fan or follower but one of my favorite quotes of all time is:

I'm not a role model... Just because I dunk a basketball doesn't mean I should raise your kids. Charles Barkley

Bites today

B: protein pancakes

L: bacon wrapped shrimp and refried beans. I shall try very hard to limit the amount of white sauce and chips I eat

D: Shepard's pie

Peace Everybody!
