I can picture the 10 days of your son and you as a bachelor bonding paradise. Belching, wiping dirty hands on your A tee undershirts, and lots of meat being torn off the bone and a face full of food. I'm going to take a wild guess that that will not happen.

If you haven't seen it, The Wire is a great series that will keep you busy with the 5 seasons. It was one of the first of that formula kind of show, which found popularity with the Sopranos, Breaking Bad, streaming series etc. It's gritty inner City Baltimore from different aspects of both sides of the law.

Good morning. It's still beautiful here. Warming up a bit, but staying the the mid to high 70's which is perfect weather for me. I stayed the course yesterday and got 160 exercise minutes and 10,819 steps. I actually ran in place for 12 minutes straight last night to get those steps in. TWELVE MINUTES! Who am I? My forever fit class and yoga classes yesterday were very centered on leg day, and I'm felling it this morning.

Today I am going to take a nice walk, and concentrate on smelling the roses rather than pounding the pavement. Just to stretch my legs. I'm also considering taking the free chair yoga class at the library. Stretching and balancing seems to help keep my leg pain way down. Nothing else on my agenda. Still need to finish my daughter's birthday card. The issue is work space. Once I start, everything is a mess and I can't handle that. So I set up, break down, set up, break down. It's not ideal and it makes every project take forever.

Good morning all and Happy Wednesday,

Another pretty full day ahead. I'm chairing meetings at 10:30 and 5pm. I'm going out for lunch in between. I'm falling farther behind on my to do list and having trouble creating enough time for work. I'm failing at being proactive nursing relationships and exploring new opportunities. I'm going to try a different way to plan my days in hopes that I'm more productive and don't let things fall through the cracks.

QOTD- My favorite raw vegetable is tomato. Is it fruit or vegetable? I do like jicama and carrots a lot.

Accountability: ice cream sandwich that I Incorporated into yesterday's food diary.

I have lost 8 of the ten pounds I gained last week. I seriously think eating a huge chunk of red meat message with my digestion and metabolism temporarily.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: ?? Maybe a grilled chicken sandwich and a handful of fries.

D: 1/2 bagel lox.

On one of the many pre WLS diets I did, they said that eating red meat will typically up your weight for a day or two, I don't know the science behind it but I can anecdotally confirm that it happens to my scale.
