What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Gooooooooooooooood Morning! It's Friday and all is right in the world. I slept for 8 hours in a row for the first time in ages, the sun is shining again, and tonight we are meeting up with friends for my favorite fish tacos tonight. Just like that, life is back to perfect :)
This weekend is busy but good. Grim's niece is graduating from HS tomorrow, and then we are heading into Boston for a Red Sox game that we've had tickets for since Valentine's Day. Sunday is off, but I really really really need to do some cookie stuff.
Pics are from last weekend: The our new chicken friends and the pig roast!
QOTD: Do you have season tickets to anything? We currently have our season tickets to the local minor league team, which is so fun. I used to have season tickets to Broadway in Boston but it's been a long time.
Accountability: I probably got about 130 steps yesterday, lol. It can't be much more than that to get from the bedroom to my office and that's as far as I went. But I ate exactly on plan (850 calories), so that's a plus!
- protein decaf
- egg bites
- multigrain bread, dairy free cream cheese, cucumber & tempeh bacon
- fish tacos!
G'morning all!
JB - cute chickens. I guess that's what you would call free range.
I have a spring in my step today. Busy-ish weekend for us. Tonight we are going to see Zarna Garg, a comedian that I love and follow. Her complaints about her kids as an immigrant mom are too relatable. DH leaves tomorrow morning for a meetup in Vegas with DS for the Dead and company concert at the sphere. I have a bday celebration to attend tomorrow. So all in all a great weekend as long as the weather cooperates.
QOTD: we have the San Jose broadway season tickets, usually you can choose 6 shows.
I have never ever counted with glee from 1 to 34 the way I did yesterday. I know the orange one will not go to prison, but it was still a huge satisfaction to hear guilty after guilty for 34 times. So for that my Fri pics are the ones that brought me joy the most last night.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Egg bites
- Fluffy yogurt, soy crackers w/unexpected cheddar w/hatchet chile
- Crockpot salsa chicken
- E: strength training
Happy Fri-yay!

I hope you have good weather and that DH and DS enjoy the show. Not my type of music, as you know, but I would imagine their light show in the sphere will be epic.

I was offered to go but I bowed out, because not my music either. Besides, it's good for DH to breathe a little (without me) after his winter of work schedule from hell.

Awww happy chickens, sad goat lol! I wish you could have downtime this weekend but alas, I'm in the same boat. I have a fun dinner and sleepover tonight with a group of dear friends who I used to work with and then tomorrow the in-laws arrive til Tuesday for our middles high school graduation. We are hosting a dinner here tomorrow and I just got back to town Wednesday night so THANK YOU Instacart for making this even remotely feasible haha.
Q: nope, never have I ever had season tickets. Though, in college during breaks I worked at a beer distributor that supplied all the beer to the concert venues and I could get free tickets to almost anything (I mean not T Swift (not that she was around) but I've seen Steve Miller Band about 19 times lol)
B: spicy chicken sausage
L: leftover rotisserie chicken
D: my friend is making fish. I'm sure there will be enough food for 29 people though we are 8. Ha.
Have a wonderful weekend, all!

Happy high school graduation to your DS! I knew he was getting close but didn't realize it was this year!

When I got my first car, the first cassette tape I bout was the Steve Miller Band, Book of Dreams. The first concert tickets I ever bought was for Steve Miller. But my boss wouldn't give me the night off. I was only 16. I should have quit.
Did you know that Steve Miller and Boz Scaggs were classmates in high school?
