What's on your Thursday Menu?
Ahhhhh. I put a stopwatch on my iFit rower workout today, and the time was spot on. I'm glad you figured it out.

Good Morning! I'm here for Friday-Eve! I have PT today so I'll leave work a bit early. Is it just me or do they always seem to start with 10-15 mins on the bike? I think it's to warm up everything? I know I need to stop using this reason to derail me and find alternate solutions to get my exercise while I'm working on getting back to normal. Always a reminder, don't delay going to the dr in fear of not being able to workout-it 100% of the time increases the time needed to heal in the end. I will need that reminder again I'm sure!
QOTD: Nope, my phone is in the kitchen. John brings his in so we have something if there's an emergency.

When I had PT for my shoulder, we never started on the bike. We'd usually start with dry needling and then some warm up stretches. Maybe it depends on the part being rehabbed?

Amen!!!
And I second Jen, for my shoulder I didn't have to do bike. Come to think of it even when I did PT for my knee I didn't do bike. The whole appt wasn't more than 20 minutes.

QOTD- Yes but I have the do not disturb from 10PM to 6AM, and I try not to look at it if I wake up only to check the time if I can't see the clock. I have my tablet too, but I only use that to read library books until I can fall asleep. And sometimes if I can't get back to sleep I'll read.
I got AutoCAD 2025 at work so I can now edit my old prints in it. So if I need to revise a job I don't have to do it in the new program. It took me no time at all to edit the job I was working on. It just makes me sad to go back to the madness of the other program.
I used to get close to 10,000 steps a day but so far this week my highest day is 4460, definitely something I need to work on.
Have a great day everyone!

G'morning all!
JB - May the force of caffeine stay with you and keep Gerd away.
So now that I have jumped through several hoops and was able to schedule a foot CT scan, and due to referral from urgent care the podiatrist clinic magically has found an open spot for me (when I called directly the first open spot was Aug 26th), my foot has decided it no longer hurts. What to do? Cancel everything or go through with it? I just want to make sure my foot is not gonna hurt when we are going for our hike in AZ.
QOTD: depends what time it is. If it's 1:00-3:00 am I try to go back to sleep. I give it a try for about half hr and if I'm not asleep I'll get the phone. If it's after 3:00 I grab the phone and go under the covers because don't wanna wake up DH. If I lived alone (and it has happened when DH is out of town) I would get up, make coffee and get the day started. I don't mind that at all.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Rotisserie chicken
- Fluffy yogurt, iced protein coffee
- TJ kebabs w/fage yogurt dip
- E: 5 miles dog (more walk than jog)
Happy almost Fri-yay!

Go through with it! Better to have it checked out and have nothing than take the chance and ruin your hike!
