Good mornin y'all. Those cookies are so cute! As is fezzie!

not a lot going on today. It's the last day of school here so yay? Maybe yay? Lol

yesterday was successful at the thrift store that houses the clothing and such. I found a brand new set of unused sheets for 8 bucks that are actually really nice. I found a pair of pants and a few shirts. Today we'll be going to the other thrift store that houses everything else but the textiles and furniture.

yesterday also had some neat news. There is a supplier for chainmaille stuff in Australia that does a ton of free tutorials that are videos. Unbeknownst to me she did two of my weaves. It made me happy, and I forgot how to make one of them so the tutorial will be useful to me too. LOL. I named them kind of silly. It's Nidhogg and Alfred. Now I am of the belief that names should represent the weave structure but alas it is what it is now. Alfred is my grandpas name so I really don't regret that one.

QOTD: not as often as I should. I really need one right now. It looks alright but it's getting hot and I want it shorter again.

kitty tax pics a starling in our elm tree last year or so and of course I have to brag on Randall too. He is so smart and going into the 3rd grade this year! He is finding his voice...esp with his overbearing and teasing sisters.

Good morning ~ This week has flown by so fast I can hardly believe it's Friday! I have a short day at the office, some errands and then plan to take little girl on a walk when I get home, she'll love that. Things have settled down on the Superbox novelty awe. We actually watched two episodes of Beat Bobby last night without channel surfing! Progress. Looking forward to the long weekend and fun things planned.

QOTD - I go every 3 months-ish for a partial highlights and cut

Accountability - I had some fun sized m&m's, 1 plain, 1 peanut. Otherwise good. 177.2 with a lousy 4,681 steps. I thought there would be alot more walking, but nope. My neck and the rest of my body are feeling better today - rest day, I don't want to rock that boat!. It just occurred to me that I could have throw my body out of whack with golf last weekend? Stretch, stretch stretch - before, during and after, for all the things.

B- coffee w/half and half x 4, legendary pastry, yogurt

l - low carb pizza in the airfryer

d - TJ's orange chicken and broccoli

s - jerky and string cheese

Have a great day!

Good morning all and Happy Friday,

Last night, I booked a quick, one night trip to Milwaukee for next Thursday. My tentative plans are to catch a Cubs game or two, Art Museum, Casino for poker/blackjack, music and eating well. It coincides with restaurant week so there are too many food choices and not enough time. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for a 48 hours jaunt across the cheddar curtain? If anyone is looking to meet up in Southern Wisconsin, I'd love to meet IRL(Catwoman7?). I'll be staying in Germantown, and will have an extra front row Brewers/Cubs Ticket & Art museum admission.

QOTD- I get a haircut every month or so. I tend to my beard daily & weekly. Last haircut, actually cut my hair for the first time ever. I did a decent job but will not make it a regular thing. I have a great, neighborhood barbershop and it's definitely an experience.

5687 Steps.

B: half a bagel, lox, tomato, light cream cheese, coffee.

L: chicken and mushrooms in a thin cream sauce.

D: mini crab cakes & TJ Aioli Garlic Mustard sauce, asparagus.

S: string cheese & maybe a pastry while meeting someone new at a coffee shop.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

-It seems like the perfect time for a shrimp boil and charbroiled oysters. I'd like to use my 5lbs of boil mix.
