Good Morning, gang! Wow, I really limped to the finish line this week. Yesterday was just long and tiring and it felt like it should have been Friday all day. But it's finally here, and the bosses that be declared us off at 2pm, so I can do this!

QOTD: How often do you get a haircut? I should really go every 6 - 8 weeks but I tend to put it off too long. Right now I look like I have a topiary growing off the top of my head. I am a living bonsai.

Pica are spring cookies, my herb garden, and Fezzie crawling into Grim's pants!!

Accountability: I have a cat on my lap, so I can't grab my phone to check steps but office days always get me over 6k at minimum, so probably somewhere around there (EDIT: cat is off the lap and I have confirmed just under 8K steps yesterday.) I had a Sweetgreen chicken & avocado bowl for both lunch and dinner.

  • protein coffee
  • egg bites
  • sausage & peppers
  • tbd - dinner @ the ballpark

Good morning and yay Friday! The weeks are very long these days...and I'm up to 16 meetings today before I log off at 3 so it's going to be another long day....but it's a 3 day weekend so yay!

QOTD - trim and undercut shave every 4 to 6 weeks, color and cut every 10 to 12 weeks

After work, I have my trainer for an hour and then a mani pedi so very much looking forward to that, I'm going to jump on the elliptical before my first meeting at 6 too. I have two left in the elliptical virtual challenge for May so should easily get that done before Friday.

Yesterday was 58 active minutes and 10,239 steps. There was some jogging in place to get that for sure, close to 5 hours on a plane and 3 hours driving really prevents a lot of stepping, lol.

menu today is

coffee plus half and half X3

key lime ratio

turkey and cheese slider

tbd on dinner

Pix are spring, springing!

Have a wonderful Friday and weekend all!

Good morning all. It's supposed to be perfect weather today. Nothing special for today, but a graduation party on Sunday. I do not look forward to traffic.

QOTD: I have no haircut schedule. I go when passersby start calling me a hippie. Oddly enough, I already had a haircut scheduled for today.

I've been taking big pieces of wood and making small pieces this past week.

HI!!! So nice to see that so many of you are still here! I post daily in a VSG Maintenance group so have been on OH consistently but my days seem to fly by. I have missed you all!

I think I told you I got married a couple of years ago? DH and I bought a home together in Florida and are working on consolidating our homes on Cape Cod this summer. The picture below was taken at an event about 6 weeks ago. I was recovering from shoulder replacement surgery in March (I am out of the sling now and just starting PT).

QOTD: As my hair has been growing out I have been stretching it to about 12 weeks though I prefer 8 weeks to get my highlights freshened.

My VSG group is comprised by people fairly far out from surgery (I am 8 years out, some are longer, some slightly less). We have all struggled with regain. Right now the majority of us are on the new GLP-1 medications (semaglutide or tirzepatide). I have been on the latter for the last 7 weeks (with my PCP's blessing). It has made such a difference in my ability to make good choices, with some other positive physical side benefits. I searched OH to see if there was other discussion about it but couldn't find much. Are any of you trying it?

Again, so great to see you here. I have to get Justice out for a walk, then I have my first PT session today. Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

So so great to see you post here! Glad you're on the path to recovery with your shoulder too. You and DH look fabulous!

Hi Liz! Great to see you!

Shoulder replacement must be horrible. So many things you can't do. Lay off the curve balls, will you?
