I'm hoping Seattle can get Bo Nix, but I doubt it. I may tune in to see a little of the draft tonight.

Good morning ~ What a difference in your experience from your previous jobs to now. So positive and exciting! Yesterday was a nice day at work - really nice. I love my staff and the whole admin staff group for that matter - so positive and supportive. Today is more reports and hopefully a wrap for the month. I can see the weekend from here!

QOTD - It was either Jackson Brown or Chicago. I can't remember in what order I saw them and both were at Vina Robles. 2015/16? It's been a while! I feel like I'm forgetting another event.

Accountability - 1/2 piece of cheesecake for a staff b-day celebration and hashbrown patty added to dinner since I had already had cheesecake, why not, f***it. This is the thinking I am trying so hard to change! It didn't work last night with the hashbrowns, but it didn't turn into anything else so I'm happy about that. No more f*it's, please. I didn't even want the cheesecake to begin with. Anyway 178.0. Exercise - W2, D3 - I did 30 minutes this morning in a blink. The treadmill is no longer torture, lol.

B- coffee, yogurt/protein granola/strawberries

l - real good burrito w/salsa and tomatoes

d- pulled pork w/coleslaw

s - jerky and string cheese

Have a wonderful day!

G'morning all!

Oh no, that meme is not looking good first thing in the morning.

JB - good luck with the event and hopefully all will be peaceful. DD has been planning a music festival in DC for her work and she told me they have hired security for the organizers because they have been getting threats.

I am still sorta jet lagged , I guess with age it gets harder and harder to bounce back. I'm sure WhiteDove knows what I'm talking about. But I have adjusted my schedule and do my stuff and eat my meals not according to the clock but according to my body. I'm sure by the weekend all will be adjusted.

OK, I promise this is the last batch of Vespa pics. Typical Italian you couldn't go to the convention without good, I mean real good, food. They just picked up their mom and pop delis and plopped them under the tents. The sandwiches, cold cuts, grilled meat, pastries, and coffee (look at that huge moka pot) were top notch. Also look at Italian style tailgating; it cracked me up. The Vespa made of 78% chocolate was my show stopper! Also, note that according to organizers there were 55 countries participating at the Vespa World

QOTD: my last live concert was last year in CO, grateful dead. But I do go to musicals, at a theatre and the last one was Mean Girls.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Egg bites
  • Chicken skewers
  • Jello, cold cuts with cheese
  • E: HIIT + weights

Happy jr Fri-yay!

I been using a Moka Pot all my life and never knew that is what it is called. We make a mixture of sugar and cream to put in the little cups before you pour in the coffee. I always thought it was an expresso maker. Now I know. Thank you.

Oooh, I love that sugar and cream before pouring the coffee. Yes, it's called moka pot but has nothing to do with the mocha (chocolate coffee) they call here in the US.
And Teenie, you don't wanna be excommunicated from your Italian heritage, it's espresso not eXpresso. We don't even have X in our alphabet.

If you don't have an X, what do your pirates use to mark the location of their treasure?
