Good morning, everybody!
Happy Fri-Yay!
My older son played Saxophone in Junior High School Band. He played for a couple of years and liked it at first. Eventually, he developed other interests and dropped it. He used to love to play Carry On My Wayward Son. Since Kansas is coming to Chicagoland this weekend we got tickets to bring him to the show. With graduation coming up, we knew all along that this weekend would be questionable for him, and last night we got the word that he won't be able to make it back for the show. It's a 2 hour concert that is one hour away from us. But we will still go.
Every semester there seems to be at least one brutal class. Plus there is a group, multi-disciplinary project that he is working on. The electrical engineers can't do their parts until the mechanical engineers finish doing their components. So a lot of deadlines over the next few weeks. CSM sure wasn't easy - I hope that it will pay off for him.
Other than the show Saturday night, it's mostly gym time this weekend. I think that Marilyn has a tennis match Sunday.
Pictures are from the Superhero Fun Run. I am crossing the finish line in the yellow shirt.
QOTD: I see her once a year. She is very nice. Do I believe that she is secretly thinking "why can't these fat *******s just stop eating so much?" Maybe.
Breakfast: English Muffin
Lunch: Hot Dog
Dinner: TBD, we need to shop
Have a great day, all!

Good Morning! Friday! I have to leave the office early today (we are having to have pest control out to spray and the cat can't be here so I'll drive around with her for a few hours if Em's working, otherwise we can go hang out with her) so I've got a few things to handle this morning-let's go!! I hope you're able to find something to eat that doesn't make you feel miserable.
QOTD: I haven't seen the nutritionist since right after surgery and at a few of the in person support groups a few years ago. This is a good reminder that I need to set up a check in appt with my surgeon though. I had been moved to every two years and then Covid so it's been four....oops.
