What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Our class was at Sur La Table. But I don't want to oversell my skills. I'm definitely still a novice.

If you really want to guarantee the bobble head, buy a $25 ticket and then hire someone to go to the game a few hours early and grab one for you.

Good morning ~ Yay for Friday is right, seriously, it's been a slow week, but a nice one. Today, I have a some reports to work on and a deadline for 3 seperate CMS surveys that are extremely detailed w/way too many questions on each. I'm not looking forward to them. I am looking forward to the rest of my day though. I have a short work day, a pedi right after then I'm meeting my sister for sushi. I need to go to the grocery store then home to prep for my other sister and BIL coming over for St. Patrick's Day part 2 tonight. Ruebens for dinner again and watching Waking Ned Devine - another Irish movie we LOVE. Lots of wine will be had - who am I kidding? We are going from glorious sunny days to cold, cloudy, rainy this whole weekend. Could go one of two ways - super productive or lazy as hell.
QOTD - In 5th grade, one of the girls going around telling everyone what my weight was after one of those semi-public weight-ins at school. I was 130 in 5th grade. I didn't understand why she was so mean about it. The shame was horrible and seeing their reactions is when I knew.
Accountability - spot on again, not all snacks were eaten. Holding tight at 184.6
b- coffee, yogurt and berries
l - tuna tataki, a few cucumbers and edamame
d - either 1/2 Rueben or a coleslaw Rueben in a bowl - both sound good, wine
s - small apple
Have a wonderful day!
A bit dramatic for CA but the struggle is real

I remember those public weigh-ins in grade school. What the hell were they doing? Line everyone up, weigh 'em, and announce it to everyone. Good lord, why?

Right?! I just had a flashback to 4th grade... We were learning the metric system and yup - another public weigh-in, but in kilograms. I remember the teacher saying after weighing me that my kilogram number should really be my lbs number, but I didn't get it at the time. Teachers were mean back then, too.

Teachers could be horrible. I had one that was incredibly cruel. 10 or 15 years later he was coaching at a local community college when a cinderblock wall collapsed and he was pretty badly hurt. I've never been sad about that. It feels small, but I don't care.

Totally get that. I'd have been cool with a wall falling on this teacher.
