same - I'm definitely more of a visual person than an auditory person. Almost all the podcasts I've listened to are on YouTube, so I can see the people talking. Can't do audiobooks at all - I'd be rewinding all the time because my mind wanders too much.

It is my Friday woo hoo. Holy heck it is freezing out today. When I took the dog out at 4 this morning it felt like 10 degrees with the darn wind howling and now Saturday is going to be a complete wash out. I hate trying to plan things more than two weeks in advance when it is an outside thing because you just don't know what the weather really is going to be.

JB that's a huge bummer on both the diner and your dinner. As for the waitress I would have gotten up and went to the hostess (if the place had one) and tell them you would like to pay so you could leave. Some people are just not made to work in the hospitality industry.

QOTD: Does not apply to me as I've never listened to an audiobook or podcast.

B: 2 egg with spinach and feta cheese

L: The last of the corned beef

D: Not sure as of yet

Ex: treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!!

Mornin' All!

I have to take my mother to her tax appt this morning. Class this afternoon, but not sure if I'll go or not - but since it's the class before spring break, maybe I should so at least he has a small group there. I remember from working on campus for. years that the kids start leaving on Wednesday - and the Thursday/Friday classes are typically a bust (some profs cancel them since they know hardly anyone will be there). I also need to get some exercise. I didn't do that well eating-wise yesterday, and I have two "eating events" tomorrow (a luncheon and then a party tomorrow night), and my cookbook group meets on Saturday. Well, and then there's Sunday/Monday - we'll be in Chicago since DH has his Global Entry interview at O'Hare at noon on Monday. Yikes. This is going to involve some tough food navigation...

QOTD: as I mentioned in response to Kelly's post, I'm not very auditory, so I could never speed things up. I have a hard enough time keeping my mind on some auditory thing when it's at regular speed. I'm often rewinding things because I missed something. I don't do audiobooks at all - and all but one podcast I've ever listened to (the Bear Brook one) has also been on YouTube, so I can watch the people talk (although even then, I sometimes have to rewind).

B: Greek yogurt, coffee with half & half

MS: should probably take a protein shake with me - it'll be a long-ish morning

L: ?? If I'm home, then probably tuna salad on a Wasa cracker (need to focus on finishing this tuna)

AS: ?? more Greek yogurt, maybe

D: we've got chili and sautéed vegetables with peanut sauce, so one of those

have a great day, everyone!
