Wow, Thursday already?? Yay!

Guess who slept until 5:20am? That's like a miracle for me. I was tired when we went to bed and I took an entire sleeping pill because I wanted to sleep hard. It worked, yay! Sometimes when I take a sleeping pill, I wake up groggy, but I feel good.

Yesterday's breakfast out was a dud in my opinion. The sausage was yummy but the eggs were so soaked in butter that they were almost inedible. We love diners, and we were hoping this one that is around the corner from my train could be a regular spot for us, but if they can't get eggs right, I'm saying no. Then we tried to go out to dinner last night, too. We waited for about an hour for the food, which was not at all worth the wait. Then the waitress refused to come over and give us a check for another 25 minutes. Again, we hoped this could be a cute regular spot for us, but they lost our vote. I guess I am back to HungryRoot, haha.

QOTD: When you listen to audiobooks or podcasts, do you speed them up? I usually listen at 1.25 speed. Sometimes I have only listened to a podcast at that speed and then accidentally put it at regular speed and can't even recognize it.

  • egg bites
  • chicken schwarma, cabbage, & naan
  • baby carrots

Good morning everyone. We're back below freezing here. Yuck.

The local morning news usually features a house fir or a car wreck. This week they are trying out a new news anchor, and it's worse than a train wreck. I feel embarrassed for the guy. He may get the hook before this half hour ends.

I've got enough ham for one more meal, and leftover pizza. The cat doesn't like pizza though.

QOTD: I have listened at 1.20 for years, but my current book is very enjoyable at 1.40. It's much longer, which is why I'm trying the faster speed. I've resisted because I hate missing facts on nonfiction, and often ended up rewinding too often.

Good morning and yay jr Friday. I am white knuckling my way to the end of the week. Very tired and we've had a lot going on at work - we're through it but I need the weekend to get some sleep and get a mental refresh. Just two business days and 15 and a half hours of meetings...and probably some work that I need to get done on top of that, lol.

qotd - never. All podcast and audiobooks at normal speed for me! They are a pleasure not a chore so no need to rush through.

i am definitely having coffee and I will have some type of workout this afternoon, after my meeting with my financial advisor but I don't have anything that resembles a plan for food, exercise or Thursday, lol.

have a good one!

Good mornin y'all. Sorry to hear the diner was a bust but yay for sleeping well!

Today'll be busy after noon. I am not really looking forward to my appointments but I know I need them. I just hope the pain clinic listens.

My pouch is angry today. It has been not happy for a while but breakfast is making me nauseous. My weight isn't budging so I need to rethink my meal plan. It's at an all time high post WLS. I'm very disappointed in myself.

QOTD: I rarely listen to any of those but it's usually normal speed when I do.

Breakfast was PP pancakes with I can't believe it's not butter and 1 tbs syrup. Also coffee

lunch will be eggs

We can only make suggestions but only you can buckle down and do the work. I am sure (as I tell DH daily) If you do the work with weight loss it may help a bit with the pain. Don't give up "DIG IN" Good luck.
