My mom loved them. Pickled watermelon too.

Morning all. I got nuthin'.

Less than two weeks until Easter. That means ham is half off! One for Easter dinner, and one for the me and the cat. I think I'll get a rib roast too. Oddly enough, some people don't care for a ham. Do any of you have traditional Easter desserts? I can think of many that go with Christmas and Thanksgiving, but not Easter.

QOTD: Pickles. Blech. It bothers me when they put them on my plate. It really bothers me when the pickle juice seeps into my burger bun. Yuck.

The only Easter dessert I remember is the bunny shaped cake with the coconut flakes on top of the frosting. I'm sure someone else remembers those?!

My aunt always made coconut custard pie for Easter and my mom would make carrot cake.

Aren't Cadbury crème eggs the traditional Easter dessert? I saw a recipe online that wrapped them in pastry dough (maybe crescent roll dough) and air fryed them.

My friend that hosts Easter makes her grandmothers rainbow jello dish. She uses melted ice cream instead of water/in addition to water so it's creamy.

My local grocery store has not had Cadbury Creme eggs this year, at all. It's probably a sign of the apocalypse.

we don't celebrate Easter, but for spring desserts, I usually make something like a lemon cake...or another "springy" flavor.

I used to do carrot cake or a trifle. Usually cake though.
