I have never been able to watch Reign. Mary, queen of Scots, story is what sucked me into history at a young age...and they make up so much, even just the episode synopses make me grind my teeth. By my friends tha****ched it and won't got see historically based moves with me because I am that annoying person , really really enjoyed it.

The old Reign series on Netflix I watched years ago - I liked it actually, but the one I'm talking about now is new on HBOMAX, S1E1 just started 2 weeks ago on Sunday night so just 2 episodes. This one is starring Kate Winslet and not a Mary Queen of Scots story.

Mornin' All!

this is going to be a weekend of (food) landmine navigating. One of my film groups is meeting over lunch today (fortunately at a Japanese restaurant - I can get a maki roll and a bowl of miso soup). Then lunch with a friend and her husband tomorrow, and an Oscar party on Sunday. Yikes. Plus I ate way too much popcorn yesterday while watching a DVD. Ugh. I'm headed to water aerobics this morning to get a few calories worked off in advance for today.

QJB: the first couple of months on a new job can be like that, because you're really only responding to immediate things and/or stuff you're told to work on..because that's all you really know about what you're supposed to be doing. Once you've been there for awhile, you have back burner projects built up, so you can pull those out when there aren't immediate concerns or assignments that you need to deal with. At least that's been my experience. I think you'll feel differently once you get to that stage.

QOTD: I don't garden. I'm an expert at killing plants, even cacti.

B: coffee with half & half. Should probably eat something before going to water aerobics, even thought I'm not hungry at all. maybe some Ratio yogurt? (I'd say a protein shake, but that would mean having to get out of the pool part way through to go to the bathroom - so no)

MS: protein shake?

L: maki roll and miso soup

AS: maybe more Greek yogurt?

D: 1/2 a veggie burger and bagged salad

have a great day, everyone!

Morning QJB and menuers!

Happiest of Fridays to you.

QOTD- Kinda? I landscape and manage through neglect. Anything that requires detailed care just isn't gonna make it.

So today I reset MFP with new goals. I'm going to do a complete reset and see about establishing normal all this time later. Miiiight have something to do with the fact that I finally got in with the neurologist yesterday and have started getting bloodwork back. But I need to do better with macro balance. I've gotten more active but need to kick it up. Any menuers have a good recommendation for a portable Bluetooth speaker?

Today's menu is

Greek yogurt x2 with blueberries

Seaweed, sliced turkey on an English muffin with cheese.

I'll plan to meal prep on Sunday. The guy I met for a date last week is coming to stay in town. We'll see how it goes. Wish me luck! Cheers.

G'morning all!

At my gate ready to get on the flight. You would think I am going into a no food area, my bag is full of protein: Barebells bar, epic chicken bars, protein chips. Can't wait to see DD and squeeze her tight.

Have you guys heard of the new diet trend? It's called carnivore. I looked into it because it sounds a lot like the old Atkins. But the more I read about it the more it sounds like those challenges we used to do on OH when I joined. Does anybody remember AMAW? The version I was able to do had cheese and eggs. This carnivore diet is for a month and sounds a lot like the AMAW. I know Grim can do this with his eyes closed.

QOTD: not at all. I have the blackest thumb. I even kill the succulent plants.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Hb eggs, spicy queso chicken chips
  • Protein iced coffee, epic chicken
  • Skirt stake, roasted cauliflower
  • E: strength training

Happy Fri-yay!
