I did get really organized after I became a widow because I had all the drawers and closets to myself. If I were to ever get married again, I would still want all of that space and would have to have a home large enough for my husband to have his own closets and bedroom furniture.

Good morning. Appropriate meme today as both Cash and I have doctor's appointments. Let's see if my doc rubs my tummy. He won't give me a treat, since he is the one who helped me get WLS...but maybe a tummy rub for me and ear scratchies for Rog since he also has an appointment. I'll report back.

Super busy day yesterday and I got a lot done. I now have all the materials on order for the second bathroom and tiling was finished in the primary bath. It's looking gorgeous. Excited to see all the fixtures go in next week. I have 3 sets of appointments today and need to drop stuff off and pick stuff up. Day should fly by. The rain lasted all night but we've woken up to clear and crisp and I am looking forward to the day.

QoTD: I have a "mini" walk in closet we configured when we remodeled a few years ago. It includes a floor to ceiling shoe rack that I also use to store extra purses and bags on the bottom shelf and work out specific clothes on an eye level shelf to encourage dressing for success. Built in dresser holds all the undie stuff, plus all the long sleeve and short sleeve T shirts and light sweaters. Separate drawers for each. Then shelves above that for all my heavy sweaters and sweatshirts. I have hanging rack up top for daily pants for anything, jeans, cargo pants, etc and a second rack for dress pants. Another one for all my dressier shirts and jackets/blazers and one for dresses. And I use a tiny back corner of Roger's closet for really long things and to store my good winter coats when off season. I love my little closest. Roger did a great job designing it. Now if I could just keep it color coordinated...

food today.

B: leftover egg roll in a bowl with a, yep you know it, fried egg on top

L: the last of the chicken and chickpeas with goat cheese. Unless we grab something out as we run from doctor to doctor to vet

D: Pork chops, fingerlings and zucchini

Peace everybody.

That is the closet system I see in magazines and on home shows and dream about having.

QOTD- Dresses, button up shirts, sweaters, jackets and dress pants and lightweight hoodies hang in the closet. All in color order. My t shirts go in my dresser, the right side is short sleeves, the left is long sleeves, nightgowns and bras on the left top drawer and underwear in the right top. My other dresser has swimsuits, pj's, jeans and socks and shorts and tanks. Also my long underwear. Just a tad OCD, In this house I have a ton of closet space and extra closets so for a change I'm not crammed. I could probably fold better, but it's the same way I've folded since I was a kid. I did get 2 narrow tall shoe shelves that I have in one of my closets, the other is in the sewing room with all my craft supplies in plastic boxes. I have 2 closets in the my bedroom they aren't huge, there are shelves but I'm not tall enough to reach anything beyond the first one.

I can't seem to get myself out of the house to do anything. I need to get some exercise, beyond running around the house and up and down the stairs. The only thing that I have scheduled is I get my nails done today.

I need to get back to work.

I missed a day somewhere I thought yesterday was Tuesday.

Have a great day everyone!

Hello peeps! It's been a bit of a hectic week with some condo issues and tax issues so I've been lurking but not posting. Coming here to say hi before I head out on a long weekend (1.5 hours away) - 9 of us are off to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We have a rental house and more food and drink than any 25 people need. It should be fun!

If I can get today's picture to upload, it's for Grim. It's the bacon counter at the Amish Market. Yummm.

Life on Wegovy continues to go well. Slow and steady. I wish this stuff was in the water supply.

B: leftover spanikopita (trying to use up food)

L: TBD but probably some cheese

D: a friend is doing pork chops and potatoes, neither of which I like, so I'll nosh on stuff in the fridge!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! I'll hopefully be able to check in more consistently next week! Teenie I'm thinking about your mom!

The Amish market! You would love it - alllll the meats, so many bacons, a crazy bakery, homemade soft pretzels, deli meats (ham!), and smoked meats and ribs!
