Wow I uploaded a pic on the first try today! Whee! I guess this is the sign that I am going to have a great day :)
I'm going into the office for a 3rd day in a row. I guess that won't happen too often, but yesterday I had a meeting with a big boss which was important to do in person, and tonight there is an event that they wanted me to attend. But I will work from home Th & F.
QOTD: If you could wave a magic wand and wake up in another place today, where would you be? I am in the mood for a nice warm beach with a sparkling ocean and unlimited sands. I don't really care where, but I'm going with Bali. Why not?
Accountability: I was completely on plan. I was super hungry (probably false hunger from Gerd) but I stayed strong and munched on Tums instead of getting a snack. But we did end up gong out for dinner. I got mini tacos. They were so good, but I will admit they they were kind of light on the filling, so did I just have chips for dinner? Sort of.
Tonight's event includes a Nacho bar. It's not going too late, so hopefully I can resist and wait until I am home to eat.

Good morning. Is it Super Wednesday already?
I wish they would ban ads for pharmaceuticals, as they used to. They are just nearly constant. Let doctors decide what people need. I've seen ads for some meds 50 times, and I still don't even know what they do.
Then there was a news segment about "concierge mom" services. If you're worried about your kids while they are away at school, you can hire a local "concierge mom" to pester them to go to the dentist, wash their sheets, etc etc. I wonder if you can pay extra to have your kid get into a shouting match with your stand-in.
QOTD: Id be more interested in instant transport to routine everyday tasks, and less for something like a vacation. It's more time consuming for all those mundane trips closer to home.

We were just playing the pharma use guessing game. The A1C's and skin things are obvious but the rest?? They just look to be living their best lives and taking something for what, pray tell?

Oooh, that's a good job for me. I'm good at pestering kids. And if the kids yell at me one look from me and they'll learn I'm no weakling. I might send them back home better trained and the moms might actually thank me. Where do I sign up for this job?

Good morning! Happy hump day!
just as my flight was taxing last night, I got a text from my boss, an escalation from our ceo. It was a very busy 3 hour flight let me tell you, but everything in my sphere was resolved by the time I landed. Then I get to the hotel and I had switched toiletry bags and was missing my ear plugs so very little sleep was had. Of course, I found them tucked into my suitcase this morning so at least I will have them tonight. And yay, we are at the halfway mark.
qotd - wouldn't mind a day off in Prague or Istanbul. But I also wouldn't mind just snapping my fingers to be home later this week!
no work out today, thought I would try to get more sleep. I didn't but I also don't get to the gym. I am sure I will get active minutes goal in though, I have two facilities to visit and I think we might walk to dinner.

Traveling with sleep issues are no fun. Hopefully the wine will relax you and you'll sleep like a baby tonight.
