Morning all! OH isn't letting me upload pics today. I had a good run for about a week, but today I tried 10 different pics and nothing would complete the upload. Hopefully you guys have some good memes for us ;)

Nothing new here. Another really good day at work! Back in the office today. I have to say--this office has work life balance down better than anywhere I have ever worked. Zero after hours emails and everyone seems to come and go on time, and even take real lunch breaks. What?? This is wild to me. Even the commute is super quick (1 hour 20 each way) and easy. I can't believe this place even exists.

The only minor complaint in my life is that my gerd is really bad again. I think it's why I wasn't feeling well the other night. My coffee tasted like battery acid, and I lost my voice several times from the acid burning my esophagus. Yuck. I doubled up on the meds and hope it dies down quickly.

QOTD: What's your favorite side dish at a restaurant? If there is a fried potato on the menu, I probably want that. But if it's a veggie side dish, I usually go for broccoli or zucchini.

Accountability: Ate on plan all day and got 16K steps again :) We went out for dinner, though and I had a peach sangria, 1/2 fish taco, and a few fries. Yum.

  • protein coffee
  • egg bites
  • beef stick, almonds and babybel cheese
  • leftover fish taco

Good mornin y'all.

Nothing much planned for the day. I am f-in miserable so I'm glad we're not doing much. The pain is intense and I'm not a fan. It is what it is though. Yesterday was long. Traffic was just insane where we had to pick two of the kids up at. There is a HS down the road from their elementary school. INSANE! Those are two hours we won't get back.

QOTD: usually I love corn type side dishes. Potatoes are also high on the list as well. Basically high carb things lol

Made the mistake of getting a small bag of cold brew M&Ms yesterday so yeah....that happened.

B: eggs, sausage, cheese and 4 crackers....coffee x 2

the rest is unknow other than we have a pork butt in the crock pot. Tacos or BBQ pulled pork.

Hi y'all. Sorry I didn't really get on yesterday. JB changed her train schedule, I had my final PT session and eval, and I'm trying to figure out a new exercise schedule at home.

JB is really enjoying her new job. It's wonderful to see.

QOTD: I can't remember ordering a side dish other than a potato variation. If I get two sides, I offer the other one to people at the table. If they decline, I just say double fries. But these days I can't even make a dent, and I gave up reheating them at home. They just aren't good reheated, and I feel like crap if I try to eat them anyway.

Reheated French fries in the Air Fryer are better than Fresh hot ones in the restaurant. Just saying.

I've tried many times in the air fryer, and I just can't get them where I want them. And they clog up the pouch pretty quick -- but I eat more anyway, and then feel like crap.

I still find it crazy that you are out of the allotted PT appointments. Do you feel healed enough to stop going or could you have used more if they were covered?

We just have a messed up system. They have a limit if 30 sessions per year, no matter how many procedures you have. It's just crazy. I certainly could have benefited from more.
