before I got to your sentence about little kids in sweatshops, I was going to say they can probably make them so cheap because they probably use kids in sweatshops..

QOTD: I'll happily split the money with Sheila! A work friend taught me to crochet a few years ago and now it's my side gig. It's a great counterpoint to emergency management! Lately my thing has been flowers. Will attach a pic if I can figure it out lol

QJB-How stressful! Glad you planned ahead and got there all in one piece.

I'm very excited today that the soft fuzzy jammies that I grabbed at Costco pre-surgery in a size smaller than I wore fit me today (more or less lol). Sounds likey surgeon is going to ok teleworking a little starting next week so I can at least try to wrangle my email before I go back to work. Also I could get very used to not working all the time so I better go back before I lose my touch!!!

Today's menu is boring but I did add some protein soup.

Just make sure you have time to rest as you fully heal. I was feeling good very fast but would have weird bouts of exhaustion for a few months.

Yay for first day. Going to orientation is a nice slow introduction to a new job. I am the same. I'd rather leave early and map out my travel to a new job. Better early than late. FH and I would do a drive by to a new job when we travel nurses plus arrive early the first day. Funny thing once our first day was during the end of day light savings time. However since we were traveling to a new place we didn't realize we were support "fall back" in time. We ended up arriving to work very early. They thought we were eager beavers! We did the same for a movie once also but during the "spring forward". The ticket person should have warned us because the movie was half over when we bought the tickets. I am better now to determine when day light savings time ends. Slow learners with that happening twice.

Good afternoon! Super late post! I had great portions of my weekend but I'm still fighting allergies. I had/have a sinus infection so more meds but I seem to be doing a bit better each day.

QOTD: I'm drawing a blank on this today. The ability to multitask... does that count?
