Good morning ~ Verizon - what a PIA! It may be time to switch carriers, if that is an option. Yesterday was a great day at work for everything but but my reports. My pension plan for retirement is going well except that I will be working until the day I die. JK - but close if I want to achieve 100% and take advantage of the 5 years drop program for additional savings. I have options. Today is more office organization, painters are coming, I have a training this morning and a CMS panel this afternoon. No time for reports today. Otherwise, things are happening, moving and changing in the office - it's awesome.

QOTD - Starbucks girl here and drink it at home also. I have tried the other chains and some local places and I never love them. Maybe I'm not ordering the right thing or the right way - who knows but I'm good w/SBs.

Accountability - Great! Ok, I have to accept a new weight and move on with my life. My new smart scale says I'm 185.4 this morning. Maybe my other scale was too kind? I'm not going to let it trigger me.

B- coffee x 4, eggbeaters w/cheddar cheese

l - RealGood burrito - if you like frozen burritos, you will love these.

d- chili dog - 2/97% LF hotdogs, 1 keto bread, chili sauce, cheese

s - beef jerky

822/81

Have a great day!

I gave up my dream of getting back to the 140s. It would be too much work to get down there and then maintain it. If I could get...and stay...under 160, which I think is entirely possible, I'd be OK with that.

You are doing great and on the right path. A lb up or down on the scale is not earth shattering. Keep at it and this scale will be kind to you too.

Good morning Queen JB and menuers,

Holy crap.Verizon done you wrong. How typical. I changed years ago and I am on T-mobile. They have plans for Seniors and as long as the main plan member is 55 you get unlimited for $55 per line. Obviously they have other plans and some include Netflix. Also international txt so no matter where I am no change for txt. My bestie travels a lot and we txt in real time no matter what country she's in. Sending photos works to so I can live vicariously through her travels while I'm at work. Good luck finding a new provider.

Got to see a few old friends and meet some new ones yesterday. It did stop Raining and I got in a couple mile walk and some park exercise. What a nice day. I also got to the goodwill and found a dress for my friends event on Sunday. She was impressed with my thrifting skills.

QOTD: it's pretty 50/50 Dunkin' to Starbucks but we have a few Tim Hortons Sprinkled in. I prefer Tim Horton's but usually just make a to go before heading out.
Accountability: too much grazing.
We have eaten out ever meal since I been in town so we need to eat left overs. Looks like Tacos and Korean BBQ today.

we're going to the gym to swim laps this morning .

good on vitamins got to step up water game.

Brightest Blessings

Chrissy

Good morning, everybody!

Greetings from lovely Coronado. The sun came out yesterday and I think it is staying around for the rest of the week.

QOTD: I?m not a huge coffee drinker, but Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts seem to split the Chicago area pretty evenly.

Mornin' All!

well I'd planned to go to water aerobics this morning, but there's a sub and as I recall, she wasn't that great, so I'll go walking or biking instead (it's supposed to get up to 60 F today!!!!). Otherwise, it's back to MIL's. The complex manager asked me yesterday if there was any way we could finish up a day or two early, because they're going to re-carpet the place and put in new kitchen and bathroom floors. We legally have the place until Feb 29th and she can't pro-rate the rent (I guess it's company policy?), but we were hoping to be all finished up over there by the end of the weekend ANYWAY and I really have no desire to go back there next week (plus we're both fairly busy next week). I just want this whole project behind me. Hopefully she'll at least give us a break on the cleaning fee for agreeing to finish up early - but if not, well...whatever.

sorry to hear about the fiasco with Verizon. Years ago I had a huge issue with AT&T. There were some fraudulent calls on our bill that evidently came from a prison (the prisoner charged them to our number). It was over $100 worth. I called them right away and they said not to pay the bill until this was all resolved. Well a couple of weeks later, we got a letter that we owed $100 (or whatever), plus a late fee. Called again. They said just ignore it - they were working on the case. Then we later got another letter saying if we didn't pay the $100+, we'd be turned over to a collection agency (meanwhile, I don't think they lifted ONE FINGER to help us resolve the issue, which they'd said they were working on). I then turned it over to the state consumer protection agency, and they took care of it right away. Then I called AT&T and told them to disconnect our service. The rep couldn't understand why I'd want to do that and why I felt I should "punish" them for what happened. OMG!! So when we switched service, I looked for any national company that had no relationship ever - past or present - with AT&T. The only one at the time was USCellular, so we went with them. (Verizon was once the New Jersey branch of AT&T, so nope - didn't consider them). The whole thing was a nightmare.

QOTD: the biggest national coffee chain here is Starbuck's, but I don't like their coffee. Too acidic and it tastes burnt. There's a local (well, regional) chain here - Collectivo (based in Milwaukee) that's very good. Also Ancora (I think this might be a local or regional chain as well). Although we usually go to locally-owned places (with just one or two stores in town)

coffee with half & half

L&F yogurt, piece of einkorn bread with butter

protein shake

cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie

protein bar (if needed - I'll be on campus most of the afternoon)

not sure about dinner

have a great day, everyone!
