Good morning all!
The cheese meme just brings me joy! My Oregon bestie came over yesterday for a little pre-op pep talk and brought her son (we all work together) and her absolutely ridiculous pug, Ingvar. I made friends with him by giving him some smoked provolone. Last time he came to visit I tried muenster and he just wanted to fight with the cheese. He is a dog with discriminating tastes apparently.
Got a lot done yesterday...send some clothes to consignment, more to goodwill, finished our taxes, rented a recliner for during my recovery (our couches suck and are super low, I was worried I wouldn't be able to to get up by myself!), and mostly finished cleaning the house. Today I'm going to try to just take it easy before surgery sometime tomorrow. Gulp.
QOTD: I usually go to urgent care if I need to be seen in a timely manner. Seeing my PCP can be up to 2 months. It's infuriating. Once my medically complicated daughter ages out of my insurance in a couple years I'm switching carriers.
Menu is boring today...tea, Gatorade zero, water, broth...that's about it, but more than I'll be having tomorrow! Lol!

QOTD- I haven't had very good luck with doctors. The one that I loved stopped taking insurance and then retired. The next one moved to Washington, my current one seems to be OK. But it is hard to get an appointment, if it is something you need quickly you usually can't see your PCP, but will see someone else. I loved my NP from the weight loss clinic, she moved to another clinic and I followed her, but she's not there anymore, so I've had my PCP do my blood work and so far so good.
I pretty much believe that men don't listen. I told my roommate to not forget his insulin, his newest girlfriend told him not to forget his insulin. So I had to express mail it to him and it was saying it won't get there until Friday and he's supposed to leave on Friday. Maybe it will get there early???
I watched the BAFTA's last night, I'm not usually one for award shows but it was David Tenant hosting it. I must say he does look good in a kilt. It was fun.
I should get some coffee and get back to work.
Have a great day everyone!

QOTD: it is pretty easy to get into my primary provider but specialists tend to have a bit of a wait time to get in. For example, the GI provider I had to wait about 8 weeks to be seen. So it depends on where you need to be seen. Good luck finding someone you like and is convenient. I appreciate convenience and ease of scheduling.
work from home today. I am a bit tired. The Benoit working from home is I can take a short nap and get back to it without anyone knowing otherwise. Tomorrow I need to go to work for an early morning meeting that I lead. My first in office day. I will come home and work after. I only need to be in the office for about an hour.
i did get my bidet installed about a week ago. Absolutely love it )especially with the frequent bathroom breaks). I highly recommend it.
I am thinking of taking a rest day from the gym since I am tired. I feel a bit sluggish. We will see closer to the end of the work day. Eating per usual.
