What's on your Monday Menu?
Good morning all. Swinging chickens for all our west coast friends, hoping you are all safe and dry. It's been seasonably cold here, about 25 right now. But no sign of snow for at least another week. We could escape any snowfalls more than a couple of inches -- once we get into March, it's rare to get a serious snowfall. This will make 3 mild winters in a row.
QOTD: The more (and more often) I eat, the hungrier I get. More food just creates cravings for more food. It's really, really hard to break that cycle.

My son would love that tape; his burritos are humongous.

I was waiting in a long line at Chipotle one day and the ~18 year old boys way ahead of me literally got THE MOST HUMUNGOUS bowls I have ever seen - extra rice, extra protein, every topping, 2 tortillas on the side, and then they proceeded to sit in a booth and make themselves each two MONSTROUS burritos. To have the metabolism of a teenage boy!
Sounds like they were using the system to get 2 burritos for the price of one bowl. Pretty smart.

DS always asks for extra rice and I always see people behind the counter having a hard time wrapping the burrito. And yes, to have their metabolism, you can see his ribs but he eats like he is just coming out of a famine.

Good morning ~ We had a similar weekend getting a lot done around the house and lots of sleep. My son decided to stay home yesterday because of the storm, the wind was the worst. Mamas never stop worrying even when they are 29. Right now it's quiet here, no more rain or wind until later today so my commute will be fine. However, Rob had to drive down to Orange Co for a hearing this morning and left at 2am. It will be pouring most of the way and they've closed some schools through Santa Barbara and LA counties. I'm worried but thankful for all the safety features on his car but wish he would call. I have an eye appt this morning and it's time for new glasses - yay! A couple of meetings and a ton of work so a very long day.
QOTD - I'm not sure, it's never been consistent. I wasn't hungry for a very long time after surgery and I'm not sure I am now. I can tell when I need to eat because I feel off or it's been too long - that type of eating always makes me feel better so I would guess that is actual hunger. I also know when I'd better eat a meal/something real to stop obsessing or snacking and this is probably boredom.
Accountability - I don't think I ate one planned thing, though all plan friendly food except 3 mini Reese's w/pretzels in them - these are so dangerous. Yoga done this morning. 186.3 this morning. Looks like I'm up .1 for every peanut butter cup, lol.
B- coffee x 4, yogurt, berries, granola
l - tuna w/ greek yogurt and lemon, cucumbers, tomatoes, pepper strips
d - eggbeater scramble w/mushrooms and red pepper, hashbrowns
s - beef jerky
