Apparently rabbits have too many teeth to qualify as rodents. They are continuously growing teeth though. Foxes have canine teeth, so they are out.

Rabbits are lagomorphs. One of their distinguishing features is that their scrotum is in front of their penis, rather than behind. I could be mistaken, but the only other group of mammals with that distinction are the marsupials.

In short, it is very easy to kick a rabbit in the nuts.

That is good information. I'll let Rudy know just in case he actually catches one.

Capybara is DH's favorite rodent. They have one at a local petting zoo.

The new season of True Detective is fire. Jodi Foster does an excellent job. The other female detective (Navarro) is a professional boxer in real life! Even has held several titles.

Good morning and happy Friday!! Love the cookies, the detail work on the X, wow!

I'm happy to report that I did make the darn tacos yesterday!

I have got to figure out how to get my friday meetings under control, it's another day of 6 to 2 straight through, although I think there is one 15 minute break so that's good. Other than that, I just need to run to the store for a couple of things, try on two pairs of slacks that I bought on amazon in two sizes and return the other and then I have my trainer at 4:30. I think I can do all the errands on the way to her though so that's good. Saturday a virtual coffee talk with my sister and seeing American Fiction with friends and Sunday I start my pickleball classes. Should be a good weekend.

QOTD - not really watching anything exciting, I'm still working my way through Reacher but I am caught up on True Detective: Night Country and it's really good. I'm looking forward to Jon Stewart being back on The Daily Show on Mondays starting in a few weeks. I would recommend The Last One by Will Dean, hard to say too much about it but essentially a woman goes on a cruise across the Atlantic and on day 2 wakes up completely alone on the ship. My reading this weekend will be the final book in the Sarah Maas Crescent City trilogy. Oh, and I did get a ticket to see the 2nd installment of Dune on Feb 29.

menu today

I might have some popcorn to snack on tonight

Bit of a photo dump, my week in key west was beautiful.

The boat from the ocean when I was snorkeling, coming out of the mangrove island on the kayak and a man of war floating by.

random Florida man, personally, I think the Davy Crockett hat pulls the whole ensemble together

what pale people wear for a day out on a boat (and I am 100% certain I am captured some where as random Florida woman?but I don?t get sunburned and also DGAF. Laughing at me might have brought joy into someone's day, lol)

Great pics Jen. I am with you, I like the sun, the sun no longer likes me. I have to be very careful with my head and ears. We are going to Playa del carmen for 10 days in April and I will have my sun hats/hoodies and long sleeves especially when hanging in the swamp( pool with the pool bar) LOL.
